Fantastic! Very wise choice of notes and bow techniques to replicate the sound of the original Alberti bass without the finger-breaking crossings. The dialogue and the shared responsibilities between the two instruments is incredibly well-balanced. And 02:53 was so cheeky!

I call this middle and high and both cellos are playfully angry but more anxious if anything. The penny is the distraction or the excuse depending on how you look at it. Wonderful little piece interpreted so playfully and brilliantly! Thanks for anxious joy! ;)

Very very nice. It's a fun piece and males me miss the days that I would get together with a friend to play a duet. I don't know how this compares to the original, but I think it would be more impactful if it were shorter.

Playing duets is the best!! It's true, the structure is a bit funny and maybe has too many sections. I decided to keep them all because I find the journey enjoyable, but I'm not precious about these arrangements, so feel free to cut away if you find a good spot for it!

Accomplished playing of a mediocre piece. The theme, before any of the variations, takes Mozart’s fabulous duet and messes it up. And the variations aren’t great either.
