Dude, when you started scissor over combing ambedextrous I almost lost my mind. Mad props all around! Master Barber is not even the word.

Thank you so much for NOT using damn annoying background music that so many of these types of tutorials insist on using. I much prefer hearing the barber talk about the cut as he/she is doing it.

Your videos are greatly appreciated. I noticed you use a lot of scissor over comb for blending sides. However, can you make a video similar to this but using clipper over comb and regular texture shears? I am a cosmetologist new to the industry and I am finding myself doing a lot of mens hair cuts where I work. Thank you much.

Wow... blending the longer hair on top to the sides with that razor is BRILLIANT! I am definitely interested how to get my hands on one. I often cut my own hair and I can fade it well enough just using mirrors but blending the longer hair on top with the sides is so difficult. I find scissors or clippers over comb VERY difficult in a mirror but I could see being much more capable with a razor such as that as well as achieving a better result. Great work!

MC your videos reignite a bit of the passion that I had for the art of barbering. After struggling to find an apprenticeship here, I enrolled and completed a course in barbering. Since completing this I've struggled to find a legitimate barber shop that is focused on barbering and technique, as I would of loved to complete an apprenticeship in barbering (Australia). Anyway, my point is, I'm curious to know what you went through in your initial learning of barbering and how someone becomes a barber in the US? Fingers crossed for you in the competition. 😊 Thank you for everything that you share.

I liked and subscribed. I have a Question!!!. so how you left that hair cut is a fohawk. so what do you called it if you want a close skin fade fohawk. like I rather have my cut more to the top then followed by a skin shaved fade. I'm from Az and most barbers don't know how to execute that hair so.

I'm not licensed to use a straight razor. Could you use the same technique to blend the sides with a typical razor that a cosmetologist can use? Probably not as good but just wondering. This is the first video I've seen in a while that really showed me something I thought looked extremely interesting, different and very useful.
