spoiler . . . last game insane, I thought it was a civ win for slapody, best game of the series, and barbetacos holding with just 2 armies while dogao went for long boat raiding, insane

The civ advantage was always with Barbetacos in the last game. They had Briton archers against generic archers from Slam and Andy, plus a paladin civ pocket against a pocket stuck on cavaliers. It only looked dicey because they took the risk of conceding water in feudal and then having a player abandon land army to take water back later.
