Love how this feels like a child's toys coming to life for a brief dance, slowly becoming more real as time goes on but only for a bit. Absolutely love, as a Barbie fan, love during the "Barbie Girl" part of the choreography, the more stereotypical take on Barbie (That she's vain, shallow and lifeless) and then during the "Shine" part of the choreo, it's more to the spirit of what we see in old barbie movies. That she's kind and graceful and an enchanting character to watch. This clearly done with a lot of love for Barbie and what she truly stands for and it makes me so happy to see.

I too was a Barbie girl growing up and loved Barbie + Ken, as well as Betsy McCall paper dolls...Inherited my mother's talent and eye for style and design, so enjoyed them both. Also, loved your comment abt how this captured the child's imagination of their dolls coming to life -- even for a moment...This is the inspiration of Tchaikovski's "Nutcracker" and children's books like, "Where the Wild Things Are"....I can literally remember having these moments as a child...Thank you for reawakening some of those moments! This was fabulous. Those stiff moves are not easy to pull off so convincingly. Y'all really nailed it. My favorite bit though was when y'all went fluid and did the twirling in sync with each other. I love that move so much. Beautifully done.

I don't know how many little girls you've been around and/or babysat or anything but all of the ones I have loved to get dressed up in beautiful dresses and dance the day away. I think my assessment still rings true to this day, despite what our current woke culture would like us to believe. Yes, there are tomboys. Heck, I was a bit of a tomboy. I'd play with frogs and worms in the mud but I also loved Barbies and dancing too. The very vast majority of little girls love dancing and dolls too.

Я покупала туфельки для Барби и шила ей платья. Мы с дочерью были очень счастливы тогда. Спасибо вам за чудесный спектакль, это было очень красиво! Особенно платье у партнёрши: мечта любой девочки!

This is the best dance I've seen in a long time. I Love the costumes, the moves, the music. Barbie Girl made sense, the dance was wonderful. Then they went "real" and I thought it was Breakaway by Kelly Clarkson. I hadn't heard that one in years and I missed it. But Then It Went "And you dance, and you dance" and I about lost my freakin mind. I LOVED 12 dancing princesses as a kid. This nade my day!!
