Barbie: Le Look FULL

French Version of Barbie: The Look.
Unlike it's American counterpart, it includes four extra song, that were popular in France.
They include:
01 Désenchantée
02 Le lundi au soleil
08 Un jour c'est oui, un jour c'est non
09 J'ai des doutes
Certain songs however, contain really oddball editing, where Rachel Sweet's original vocals are still in songs and for some odd reason aren't sung over.
I assume it might have to do with how those original songs were recorded.
I am not sure who is the vocalist but I can assume it's one of these two people credited at the end of the book as:
"Chœurs : Olivia Haskell et Mona Lisa Young"
I haven't looked up who these two are, so it's still a mystery to me..

J'ai cherché ça partout !!! J'avais la k7 audio et on me l'a cassé.... C'est la première fois que j'entends Barbie depuis plus de 20 ans !

Oh I thought it was going to be the same as the US version with extra tracks. Sadly, Rachel Sweet isn't singing on this one. The tracks she wrote and produced are still here but sung by someone else in French. Thanks for uploading

Really? I'll have a look into that. My copy didn't include that oddly if I remember right. Maybe its on the cassette version? Thank you for the heads up! *EDIT* MY BAD It appears I somehow messed up and forgot to add it to the recording. I still have the harddirve with this album on it, I'll dig it out soon to get it and post it!

That's Michael on that song? No way! That's amazing. :D But please correct me if I'm wrong, I can't find any evidence that Michael Steele wrote "Bell Jar" with Rachel Sweet--the song is credited to and sung by Vicki Peterson. Were you thinking of another song? Which one did Michael collaborate with Rachel on?

@@MarysiaKosowski Actually since delving into this deeper, someone told me it's Shari Belafonte, actress and daughter of Harry and is listed on the album. Jeff Silverman the producer of the record was her boyfriend during this time. I tried to get an interview about the album for my Rachel Sweet Spot page, but he won't talk unless Rachel said it was ok. She only did this album if she had anonymity. Sorry, the song is Crash and Burn, not Bell Jar, Rachel is listed as writer on credits.
