Ha! I got offered the All American Ken doll from 1990 for 8 bucks on EBay! Snatched him up for his acid washed jeans and Reeboks!…. They fit this doll perfectly!!!!! All the 90s and 2000s fashions fit these buff bodies as the clothes are super loose back then…. All American Ken jeans have ACTUAL POCKETS…. Mind blown!

When switching bodies, I usually heat water and place the head in, it softens the heads very well.

One thing I been hearing is that each version of this Ken is different. I'm so glad Mattel are creating more black Kens, and I'm glad they're doing most Kens with rooted or flocked hair. I should be receiving mine tomorrow.

It's so funny how I ran into your video because I just received my ken doll right now!!! Wow, that's crazy how one doll's hair is fuller and looks different than the other. I actually gave mines a haircut like the short hair one. I've been buying my buff ken dolls clothes from Amazon and Temu. The quality is amazing! Can we talk about how they need to stop packaging these dolls soo tight?! 😂😂 I feel like we're going to break them before we get them out the package. Thank you soo much for this review. I've been having a hard time trying to find made to move bodies for dark skinned African American kens. I agree too with the purple pastel pants... Why can't we have black pants or some jeans?! 😁😁

@@TheDivaSpot101 I have 2 granddaughters. The older one, who is almost 8, has been learning how to hand sew with me for several months now. I've just revamped my sewing room (thanks Hubby!!!) and am waiting for a new sewing table. Once that's in (soon, hopefully) I will teach her to sew on machine. I think an inexpensive little Singer may be in her future. Both my daughters know I'm here if they want to learn. (One of them DID take sewing in high school....not that she tried very hard. I cried when she brought home her projects....they were so awful. I ripped out the seams and resewed everything and then gave everything to charity. She's a lot more responsible than she was then, but she's an ER nurse so doesn't have as much time to learn to sew, although she's indicated she might do so one day...meanwhile...I have granddaughters!)

I have three darker toned Kens and I just adore them! They're named Bob, Dwayne and Steve! I have about 40 Barbies/Kens all in all, and I call them my babies! Lol! ❤

I wish Mattel would just start making the doll stands out of metal. Change rhe design sonehow but considering what we are paying for the dolls these days, i should think netal stands could be made

What AA stands for? Different skin tones has different letters? Wow, you are so brave on removing the heads without heating them first, I couldn't do that. I kinda like those ^ shape pegs (I don't know the name in English nor in my own language, lol), seems to keep the head secure, I don't know, I might be speaking nonsense. I avoid to remove the head so I don't buy basic dolls, just Looks and BMR lines that comes with MTM body, I'm an MTM freak. I can't wait to get this guy. I don't like the color of his lips, I prefer the Looks 4 lips color more, I don't know what to do with it, maybe removing the pink would look ok, I'll wait and see what people will do, if they will.

0:15 Jason,the doll looks so cooool and black Lovin it buff black ken is so awesome but dude ,seriously ,you have to get the Barbie made to move Brooklyn doll .Her body is amazing and defined and as robot look as the normal doll body if you don't have her buy and the video but if U upload the video and make your own body comparison but just get the now thank for video as cool as you l guess byeee.😏😏

Hi Jason. Good review of new mtm ken. I'm not really into Ken dolls, but I do like the facemolds or is it face scuplts🤔? The Ken fashions are always awesome. I was wondering would u put ken clothes on wild heart crew dolls? I sent you that fashion pack that had the striped swimsuit & pineapple shirt for Ken in the package I sent. I hope you will like everything including the hot wheel cars.
