These dolls are beautiful, but they are too much money for me. Many years ago when the Silkstone dolls first came out I collected quite a few and I love them. But I don’t think I’ll get anymore, I don’t belong to the Barbie club anymore. Now that I look at the dolls they do look kind of scary, I was just looking at them being articulated, and I like articulated dolls. I think the combination of their big empty eyes and little.tiny mouths, just make them look kind of fake. Thanks for sharing ❤

I love Silkstones and bought both the BFMC Sapphire doll and the Swirl Ponytail doll (and LOVE both). I don't like RH dolls but am interested in this collab. The dolls look well-made, the clothing looks super high end and the packaging is nice. It cracks me up that people are fine with single IT dolls costing $200 and up but when Mattel charges $150 for 2 dolls with comparable quality folks lose their minds, lol.

I bought the Sapphire Silkstone and the Swirl. The Sapphire is my favorite doll i bought this year. I'm a sucker for the vintage face mold and the clothes. Not going to get the latest one she's just a pretty blond in a gown which has been dine to death.

Its kinda sad they wasted the time and money creating new body and face sculpts... and this is what we got. Their faces just look so cheap/fake. The outfit quality is really great, if these outfits were on regular Barbies this set would be a hit, just feels like a massive waste.

That's a no for me. Too expensive and not my style. The clothing is beautiful but the doll sculpts don't do it for me. I have a few silk stone dolls but only the original reproductions. That aspect of collecting isn't my thing but for those who do collect, the new doll is certainly beautiful.
