Explanation here: First the telenovela was released and it was a huge hit in latin america. It was so successful that the soundtrack recorded by the main cast went viral in many many countries. They released an entire album together as a real group and they went on for 6 years as real band. They released 5 albuns, dvds, magazines, toys, stationery kits, make up, pergumes hahaha. The band started in the show, but it became real with cast using their own real names and Identities. In 2024, they reunited for a celebration tour together. And it was sold out in almost everywhere they had played. The girls real names are Anahí (mia), Dulce Maria (roberte) and Maite (lupita). Mattel probably used the characters names in the box to pay for one license only. Love your channel!

I think the salon is a part of the stories! I wouldnt change a thing, I adore these videos as they are! RBD stands for Rebelde which is the name of the show and the title track from the first album that’s the shows theme song. The band and show existed together, and the band was actually around for a few years after the show ended. I was obsessed in high school and would rush home after school to watch it.

Fun trivia: the original series was Argentinean and then the show was sold to be remade in sevaral countries. The dolls are based off the Mexican characters. And the actress that played the original Argentinean Mia is now Michael Bublé's wife...

I looove Rebelde and RBD! i’m actually a fan from the first generation of fans, from 2005. i started to stan them when i was 11! lol. it was a band that started inside the telenovela. and they started touring, and it got bigger than the show. today they are a group outside of the Televisa deal. only for the music, and the members are also solo artists, as actors and musicians. there’s a whole fandom and a whole of drama involving the project. it’s completely addicting hahaha. I love it ♥️ I currently own the Mia barbie. From 2024. I wish to own the old ones too someday 😭♥️🙏🏻
