Barbie Style Doll Reviews and Comparisons

Our review and comparison of the Barbie Style dolls! I have also loved Barbie but haven't been buying many Barbie dolls as of late, but with new projects and new line of Barbies, I have been sucked into them again!
We are Elvira and Chase: The Doll Circle! Elvira has been an avid collector of dolls and toys since she was a kid, and Chase loves to collect anything anime to video game related! Joined by a group of our family and friends (who like to share their passion for toys too), we bring a family-friendly, unique and sometimes goofy approach to everything we do. Our informative videos include in-depth reviews, quirky shopping videos, toy hauls, an occasional random surprise, and more! We love Monster High, Ever After High, Funko POPS and Mystery Minis, Disney, Zelfs, My Little Pony, Bandai, Tokidoki, Hello Kitty, LEGO, and blind bags. We also adore Marvel/DC, Disney Infinity, Sailor Moon, Gundam, Pokemon, anime toys, comic collectibles, and so much more. Kids love us and adults do too - we’re kids at heart!

The Doll Circle Hey :) how are you? i want to debox my dolls too but i am so scared of the dusts. should i keep them in a glass cabinet? will that keep the dusts away from the dolls? and can i clean the dolls faces with water? just the dusts.. will that make the face paint fade?

THANK YOU SO MUCH for the tip about Tuesday Morning! I checked out my local locations and hit it big, with a Barbie Look Black Label Doll for 4.99 / 9.99 and many other Barbie playsets, clothes, etc. They are my new fav Barbie shopping location (besides thrift stores - LOL). BTW something I found interesting, they had Barbie Look "Clones"... i.e. Dolls in a Mattel Black Label box, with the correct accessories, but definitely NOT a Barbie doll in the box and they were priced like they were REAL Barbies! Crazy!

I own the Teresa one. She was one of the first wave I think of the style line. She is one of my faves. I own the red vest style raquelle, two of the maroon shorts style raquelle, life in the dreamhouse raquelle. I them all and yes more Barbie reviews.

Do you know how I can recolour the Barbie iris? I want a Barbie that looks like me so I can put it with some other dolls but I can't find one with dark brown hair and deep green eyes. Raquelle looks good but she has the wrong colour eyes so how do I fix that?

the only thing that disappoints me about the style heels to flats dolls is that they don't have eye shadows. it's frustrating coz i love their articulated ankles. so i'm kinda thinking that i will have to buy the old and new versions of articulated style dolls and swap their heads.

The Midge doll is quite expensive - like $30 - $40 on Amazon. I've been monitoring her over the past several months and she hasn't come down in price. Same for the other Midge release (the one with the red dress and orange-red polka-dot jacket). I did manage to pick up one of those for like $15 before they went out of stock. They also want over $25 for the red-haired Teresa (?) doll with the straight red hair (her face slightly resembles actress Bonnie Wright as Ginny Weasley) and cowgirl boots; and that doll has NO articulation (similar body style dolls have been selling for $8 - $14 at Walmart and Amazon).

That redheaded cowgirl boots doll is supposed to be Barbie. Unless stated otherwise, the dolls are Barbie.
