Great job! Recently I also got Tawny in my collection, but there are some troubles with the mechanism. Maybe you know - is it possible to disassmble the horse? All that screws on the body are covered and I have no idea how to remove them :(

Thank you ❤️ I haven't done it yet, but I think that it is possible, although it can be not so easy. I guess that Tawny is simmilar in construction to Simba Steffi Love Running horse - my Stephanie. In fact, Steffi's horse had no screw covers so it was easier to remove them. But I think that you may use the needle or some kind of bigger pin to remove those covers. But that is nothing comparing to removing the seger rings on front legs. That was a nightmare to me! And putting them back in place was even worse. You can see it in my video about Stephanie. I am afraid that Tawny looks the same inside, with one difference - Tawny has also moving neck.

@@barbiestablebydonka Yeah, I know your pain. I also repaired a broken hip joint on a horse, similar to Steffi, with no covers. And I was so afraid to not be able to reassemble it back :)

The screw covers on the original horse are extremely difficult to remove and even then they can be too far damaged to re-use. Hope you’re able to repair yours to original condition.
