I’m listening to this here in 2024 and we need this now more than ever. It’s so sad how bad things have gotten and this makes me so incredibly sad.

Barbra, the greatest entertainer the world has ever seen 😊

What a wonderful night. Barbra blew us all away. Others had performed before her, e.g., Michael Jackson, but when she commanded the stage, the excitement reached a fever pitch. She could not have been better. For me, one of the greatest moments of her career. This song was the perfect prelude before Bill coming on stage.

I too am watching this in 2024 and I got goosebumps all over again watching the legend Barbra Striesand perform. She is Gods gift to us. She is caring, she speaks only the truth,she is so intelligent, and so incredibly talented. I don't know if she has finally accepted that she is just as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside. Hello Gorgeous!! Lol. Love you Babs 😘

I remember watching this on live television. This was a huge deal seeing her perform live on television because this was before she did any of her return concerts in the 90s. There were flash bulbs going off everywhere. People found it difficult to understand her stage fright because she looked so relaxed up there. That song went straight from Barbra's lips to God's ears! BTW, I think if Frank Sinatra saw Trump dancing to any of his songs he would puke.

I am seriously laughing out loud at this clip as I either never remember chelsea victoria that young or I forgot what she looked like. I probably hardly remember that far back as that was WAY in early 1993!! LOL So sweet looking. she looked very much in awe of her father walking on stage. and I forgot if I saw this or not a long time ago but is there any significance of BC sitting with that big group of people. were they like worker people for the day after?

@ferrierepc Could not have more summed up my thoughts--and it isn't like Bill Clinton would have had any reason to be distracted what with taking on a very hard job either than morning or the next morning. not sure if this was the day of or after.
@ferrierepc15 жыл бұрын
Dude.....you're not getting the jist of the moment. Whether Clinton was looking away or not, it was a moving moment. You seem to want to take away from we who were moved, by the song, the man, the mood, that very sweet moment when we were seeing something new, an opportunity. The song is about just that and when we, peacefully, change the powers that be, that too is this song. That it is being sung by a legend is too, that song. Was not a moment for pointing out nano seconds of distraction. Ciao

@blykken or he could have been genuinely distracted and then genuinely touched. What with being a major leader of a large country less than 30 hours away and all. I agree with above post. He might have been distracted but it isn't like he was doing something for "political gain"

@savoytruffle4 That is true! :) LOL! I wonder if the innaguration festivities seemed a little bit intimidating to her. Not scary but just a big adult environment. Also, not guessing 12 year old chelsea would have cared if B. Streisand was a God as that was just a music person her "parents" listened to.
