Have you guys tried live shrimps. Get those giant ones and just let them loose inside the mini pond. If Barry doesn't eat it..the others will have a go at it. So its a win win for you guys. I guess you should get a ray for the mini pond too. That would be epic.

11:54 yes tons of bait fish all different type doesn't matter just do all different types like a hundred or so of each different type and get some seaweed some seaweed plant and just stick them in with the rocks and ties if them to the the legs of your things and give them something that they can swim through

I say whatever bait fish you can get/catch variety is key that way there is tons of different fish for them to enjoy and maybe pots won't be so aggressive if he has free range food all the time.

Blue Runners would be a fun baitfish to watch, but having goggle eyes would mean you have the best baits whenever you need them (if they survive that long) But it does seem like that's a lot to spend on fish food with how expensive gogs are.

honestly, i say run a small pond for bait fish for a little bit. load up hundreds of salt water bait fish of different varieties. then when you got a good amount. add em to the pond. itll add bulk to the pond in terms of fish but also maybe save on food cost for a couple days as they eat on em
