I see a lot of comments about how Nico lost many balls during his dribbling v Brazil. Also how Leao would be a much better option. Look, Leao was exactly like Nico when he was 21 years old. Keep in mind there is 3-4 year difference between them. Leao did many dribbles that also resulted into nothing in his early years. But through time he got better and more decisive. Nico will go through the same thing, he just needs to up his game by going to a world class team like Barcelona. Nico will be a monster just like Leao is today at 24 years old.

Nice explanation but it's not that simple, please be reminded that contract renewal plus bonuses are to be paid out, differed wages, not to mention the signing of the Joao brothers, so its gonna be a rough patch. It's not 30M debt. Tebas said it was about 100M on February 6th. Assuming we get the money from Libero or from someone else and we reach the UCL semi-finals we'd have a little over 60M. Let's say we sell Romeu, Eric García and Sergiño Dest, we keep Pablo Torre and Ansu Fati out on loan, maybe Casadó's contract is unilaterally extended for a year and he's sold. We should get percentages of Todibo's and Mika Marmot's transfers and if Cancelo and Kounde stay at the club, then Julian Araújo and Alex Valle will have to go. All and all we might get a little over those 100M. Lenglet and Alonso should free some wages too and hopefully we'll renegotiate De Jong's salary. If all those conditions are met, we'd still need to sell one or two players to sign a big name. I'd consider Moleiro for the left wing. He's very good, he's young and not too expensive. The problem is the CDM. Xavi would want Zubimendi or Rodri but they're impossible. Onana may not be the best profile, Lobotka is also expensive... it's tough
