Joshua Kimmich had been a top target, but his arrival looks complicated due to the high asking price Bayern Munich have set. As such, Mikel Merino has emerged as a more likely candidate to arrive at the Estadi Olimpic this summer, and according to Relevo, Barcelona are confident of securing a deal for an approximate fee of €20m.

Araujo being injured is a good reason to TRY out a center back duo of Faye and Cubarsi in the preseason matches and training sessions. No need for panic. Kounde should stay at right back. Christensen can be a center back duo with Cubarsi and have Faye as back up. Faye can do the job. Exciting times, I have faith and trust in the process with Hansi Flick leading Barca. 💜💙💜

About Arsenal wanting Nico Williams, if nothing changes in their squad there’s no reason to worry, they have Martinelli and Trossard on the left wing, two great players. Unless they sell one of them I don’t see too much truth in the report of them(Arsenal) wanting Nico, it makes no sense. Probably is just the media trying to hype up such a possible move, but the current reality tells us something else.

Because to win leagues and cups, it is important to be consistent against the teams like valancia sevilla betis atletico bilbao etc. And not to drop points against teams like granada celta osasuna etc. Facing real madrid shouldnt be a big deal because those will be 3..4 games where we need to be on our absolute best.
