I like Nico but not sure with high salary demands and buy out how practical and worth it for Barca. I'm also not a fan of Deco, Alemaney almost had his contract done and Xavi really wanted him when it was much cheaper. Deco either botched the deal or didn't grab him to buck Xavi and now we have much more to deal with to try for this. Meanwhile they brought in Roque early which hurt his career, Xavi and Barca. We never know everything that goes on in the background, but fact is we could have bought out Nico's contract for less than we did Roque, and had him signed in the team before the all hype to drive up his wages in a club that is still in dire financial straights.
