It’s crazy to see other girls who can do this stuff now. when us skater guys were in our teens, we dreamed that these girls would exist someday lol. Very few girls actually skated in the 90s.

yes true, there were very few women on blades in the 90's and even less on skateboards, but roller skating has been widely driven by female skates since the 2010's and it's great to more and more girls shredding at the skateparks nowadays!

Is there a mechanical advantage to heels on skates? I'm not a skater myself but it was just something i realized while watching. Awesome video!

It's a matter of preference, usually high heel skates are more comfortable and help you get a skater stance and more natural position for overall skating, dancing, etc but for street skating usually flat skates are better for gaps and stuff like that.
