It's a coaching problem, there was another team (I forgot the name, smaller one) that was doing exactly the same - passing behind our line easily, mainly long shots straight over our defense, seems like Xavi doesn't know how to fix it. And Girona is coming with their mobile midfielders.

What a season for Barcelona, and yeah I said what a season, I must really commend Xavi honestly, over the years I try to look at football from an emotional point to a more tactical manner. Yes, this season has been tough for Barca, and it hurts especially being a Barca fan, To the point where honestly the best thing that we got this season is Xavi deciding to stay. I get some people may have mixed feelings about this but just look back and tell me that you can see another coach transform our club to this level. 1 - kudos to removing the old unreliable players from the team - Xavi work 2 - kudos to working around the financial issue we have in Barca - Xavi work 3 - kudos to mixing quality youth with the main team - Xavi work 4 - kudos to getting to the quarter final of champs league since 2019/20 season - Xavi work Honestly the only 4 coaches I see doing what Xavi has done for Barca is Pep, Arteta, kloop and Xabi Alonso 😆, and I can go as far as saying that none might be able to do it with the kind of financial difficulty that Xavi faced, I mean to be honest guys the best team of these coaches across the best teams the have put up to compete all have top elite DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS, I mean Fernandinho, Rodri, Rice, Busquets, Xhaka, etc, all these players and team play similar to what Barca plays and non have achieved great heights without a solid DM. Xavi played a whole season with literally no one at that position, minus that, he lost Gavi, Pedri, Frenkie, Balde all to injuries at some stage of the season, all this and still getting to quarter final of champs, second in la liga, come on he deserves to still remain as our coach, by the way this season is Arsenal best season so far since Arteta take over and financial backing thus far, they got as far as quarter final in champs and not even won their league once. All to say if Xavi is given the right players we wont only play good football but fight through difficult times and win title. Forca Barca.

Tactics wise, style of play and even Xavi with the necessary players would perform tremendously. Even these players have shown they can do that but the problem is their dedication. You see players from competitive teams eager to not lose the ball or even win it back immediately when it’s lost, the bad players that get hyped get those recognition because of their body language and how they show their hunger on the pitch. And yet certain players when we need a goal desperately in this team feel relaxed and do what they want. Ferran even though he’s helped this season I really don’t like his body language when he’s not at his best, the Joaos feel they are playing Volta or Scorehero in my team. I congratulate the team for that great come back against a clever and difficult team in Valencia. I also want say that today Ter stegen was poor as a result of that gaffe, Araujo should be punished for that reckless tackle and overall his performance over some matches is a disaster giving away goals. Fermin was fantastic and a good pat for him. I don't know why Xavi kept Yamal on till the end, Raphinha was more productive than him todaybut he took him off allowing the young man on. Pau Curbasi need some rest the games are taking their toll on him of late and at this stage we need experienced players because i still believe barca has a chance of stealing the trophy from Madrid. My biggest concern remains about our lack of attacking midfield creativity. Barca is 💯 not a corner kick set play team. Im glad weve added it to out arsenal, but our creativity in possession lacks threat...and THAT is what creates defensive weaknesses and keeps us from rejoining the truly top tier

I think we sometimes play too slow which I kinda get sometimes because of how defensive our opponents play. I feel like la liga is one of those leagues that plays very defensive. All other leagues play more attacking.

Today we played very poorly, slow, lot of mistake and I will say Valencia played much better than us, and that is with a squad with an average age of 22,6. I think the only reason we manage to win today is because of the red card! Sad to see this mentality, slow play, bad passes, bad decisions and is something we will need to figure out what to do about before next season if we gonna compete for one trophy!!🏆 and xavi need to learn the tactics about the subs, is just no plan. @@Chisanloius kinda agree, but there is no better manager option that suits us well right now, if Xavi is one more season, Koop have had a one year rest, guardiola is free agent, arteta I thing is a free again and enri from psg is free, so I think next season will be about getting some big youngster up, try to compete league and cups, and make some big youngster sells next summer, and rebuild the squad, for rn, the real team is gonna win league every year, and in the summer mbappe will be added as well!
