that front 3 sounds, well, theoretically cool, tho i doubt it would work haha, i dont know what flick has in his mind but because everyone is looking at nico yamal duo in the nt as a referrence maybe fati can be trained to take the role of morata, a little bit of a deep lying forward who kinda moves with a lot of freedom in the centre, traces back regularly to connect with the players behind him while at least one of the interiors penetrates the box, and presses with a lot of intensity when the possession is on the other side (thats where the physical plan plays its part), i think that sounds cool and doable, but im not sure if its flick style. also fati doesnt have the height and heading skill of morata, that would limit the attacking options. anyway to be able to play like spain, the role of rodri is unbelievably critical, and by that i mean the role of a HOLDING PIVOT (yeah and thats not what kimmich is, period), someone who can cover the zone 14 to defend counter attack, doesnt have to be a passing machine, just dont be too shitty at it and at possession as well (like oriol romeu), but zone 14 defense is a must, cuz thats what frees the interiors from defense duty (partly) and allows them to operate higher on the pitch (so stop crying about xavi had pedri playing so far from the box, lmao). but as far as the reports say flick doesnt want a "positional pivot", so yeah i really dont know what he is planning on. oh and, cuz you guys are all crazy on nico, just remember that beside all the transfer fee and taxes that must be paid at once, nico is also on a high salary. considering he has good relationship with our players, maybe that and a good experience playing with them at the euro can convince him to lower his demand a little, but either way if you say that no selling is needed to sign him id say bullshit, cuz i dont fking believe it. then that depends on whether raphinha is good with moving to saudi arabia. after all those things frimpong can be the icing on the cake, his transfer i hope that all the rumored cash injections can cover.

Ansu plays best on the left, Dembele and Ferran play best on the right. So how did Ansu have to compete with them again? Ansu can still play, with limited minutes for Brighton he played well, despite him not really being featured in the plans. Coaches need to coach to their olayers' strengths. Put players where they'll succeed. Ansu still has it. And he's still young.

Ansu should stay as a winger. He might not be better than Williams, but he is not a number 9 that can score you 30 goals a season. That, is still Lewandowski who is Even more exiting under Flick. Ansu can be a big threat at the LW, especially with the double pivot and Balde helping him out wide, allowing him to rotate between central and wide, causing him to be dangerous.
