WHEN Alex and Noah shared the news that they were going to have a baby, they received a lot of negativity. Alex has a rare disease called spinal muscular atrophy type two and Noah is one of her main caregivers. The couple received nasty comments and there were a lot of misconceptions about Alex being disabled and pregnant. Earlier this year, she gave birth to their gorgeous daughter, Ari, who is now four-months-old. She said: “My pregnancy experience was one of the hardest things I have ever done but I have this beautiful little lady.” Since Ari was born, the negativity has continued with comments questioning both their capabilities as parents. Trolls criticise their parenting, saying Noah is not capable of looking after Alex and Ari, or they assume that their daughter will become her mother’s caregiver. Alex said: “Trolls say I am not fit to be a parent because I am disabled.” But the couple will not let this negativity stop them from posting on social media. Alex said: “I am dedicated to breaking stigmas about disability and being a parent.”

the update on this couple is wild. apparently she is a scammer and her boyfriend was cheating on her and flirting with multiple women. together they destroyed her ex-caretakers belongings because they were mad at him. scary stuff, they are not as innocent they come across!

@@kenterminateddq5311 NO I can’t! 😡 A mother is not measured in her physical abilities, but by her commitment to the unconditional love of her child, and to providing her with everything she needs to become a loving and productive adult. I think some of the “trolls” are just concerned and worried about her boyfriend being able to be the primary caregiver to both Alex and Ari because he recently came out of drug & alcohols rehab - he wasn’t even there for the baby’s birth due to being in rehab. the trolls are worried an out elapse since it can be very stressful being a caretaker. Wish them all the best, and I am sure they have lots of supports around them.

I am physically disabled, I am 90% paralyzed on my left side due to an illness as a baby. I learnt to do everything with one hand including tying my shoe with one hand. I had a hard time growing up with people poking fun at me. I got married, had two children and received a university education, and had a full time job. My husband was always there for me until he passed in 2019. My son helps me out when I need it. I always felt that it was not all that bad dealing with a disability, the hard part was dealing with society who thought it was OK voicing their opinions.

As much as people just look by it, if she didn't have a caregiver, she wouldn't be able to take of that child by herself. The baby would already lose out on a big portion of their life now. It isn't that she isn't fit to be a parent, she just can't do it physically by herself. This baby is getting better care than most babies are in this world that have to non handicap parents!!! Because there is a hell of a lot of drug addicted parents that disgustingly neglect their babies every single day in this world so this baby is lucky as hell to have two loving parents and a nanny to love and care for her!!!

If you put a little water in the bottom of the bottle, it will help the powder not to stick. Just a small tip. You're both doing great! ❤ Congratulations, she's a darling baby!!

I’m pretty sure they aren’t asking anyone for parenting tips 🙄 like that’s almost like your trying to be rude and insulting without being to obvious about it. They are doing great as parents. Are you not looking at the same healthy 4 month old we are all looking at?

Should always fill water first up to the line and then add powder afterward to guarantee you have the correct amount of liquid that's required for the formula.

You don't need to be a dr. to know the risks. Common sense is all that's required. If a person can take care of themselves and a baby than it's ok. There are people that are not disabled and do a bad job raising kids, some even criminally. I'm a man that raised two kids alone from day two of their lives. So i know what it takes. This woman has the main thing to raise kids, love. She loves her child. Yes l know it takes more but I'm not losing sleep wondering about the baby cause l believe the baby is being well taking care of.

Why is anyone feeling bad for the dad? He knew his wife had a disability and CHOOSE to be with her. He also knows how babies are made and CHOOSE to be intimate with her. If he didn't want to marry a woman with a disability, he didn't have to. Some y'all acting like he doesn't have any agency here.

Seems like wonderful parents that really love their daughter. I'm caring for twin boys that had a perfectly able bodied Mom, but she was too focused on her addictions, that she abandoned her most precious gifts. She was physically able. But not stable enough to be a Mother. They are now my most precious gifts and i can't imagine my life without them. I struggle with health issues as well, but would never let that stop me from being the best Mom that I can be for these sweet boys. They only need love and everything else will work out.

Congratulations to their little family! The baby is obviously loved, cared for, and has all her needs met. Haters are just ableist, judgmental, and misinformed, and they don't bother to do research before trying to bully the family. Since they wanted the baby, I feel like aborting just bc the mother is disabled is a form of eugenics. She's allowed to have kids too. Again though, congrats to the family!

People like to point out negative things or hate on someone for things they have no control of. It's ridiculous to hate on someone for wanting and having a family. Able-bodied people with families have accidents and become disabled all the time. If this was the case the majority of comments would be how inspiring she is for continuing on and loving her family. Life isn't fair, but that doesn't mean someone doesn't have a right to make the best of it.

@@knowledge4741there's no law against disabled people having kids people with disabilities are allowed to have children. I'm 37 years old. My dad is 72 and he's my caregiver because I have a lot of mental and physical intellectual disabilities severe. Is it hard for my dad to take care of a disabled child and live with him forever? OF COURSE but it's your duty as a parent and it's your responsibility FOREVER! To take care of them so I really hope you don't have any disabled kids or know any because obviously you don't approve of us disabled people LITERALLY SHAME ON YOU
