I truly feel that these type of medically-informative videos are what make it worth having the internet available to kids. They may be subjected to some negative experiences that, most often, cause them to mature sooner and can affect their emotional well-being. Yet, they also have a much better understanding of the world, thus developing deeper empathy for others after they are able to see and hear about the wide range of trials and struggles that many people are faced with.

@@emma2501 Parents and schools should explain and teach the kids what to do when confronted by predators on the Internet/outside in the world and what they may find online. If they won't find it by themselves, they will learn about it from others, so it really doesn't matter how hard you will try to keep them safe from the exposure. Explanations and communication would be better prevention. My parents always told me to say NO/remove myself from the situation if I am uncomfortable and to tell them about it. My wife has tested for TMAU, and she has had a TMAU for many years. She tried to change her life as her career went to school to get new work from home. But the authorities are making it impossible for her to live everyday life. They are punishing her almost daily of her life. Her life is like a death sentence. Officers have been involved with the neighbors to destroy my life. So, much more to mention. I've met another person with this condition before and he was able to easily cure it. The undigested proteins are from a lack of stomach acid. When there is a lack of stomach acid, the liver will not excrete the amount of bile appropriate for breaking down the proteins. This can be cured by consuming raw apple cider vinegar, betaine HCL, digestive enzymes, or bile salts.

It's not undigested proteins, it's how the proteins break down. In a normal body they break down to a different compound that doesn't produce a smell. In people with the disorder the choline protein breaks down into something else. And that something else releases the smell.

I know how you both feel. I didn't have any disability in high school and I got bullied. I was thin but it good shape . All it took was one kid to say I had fish lips because in a white guy with big lips...not huge lips just not narrow lips. Well the name stuck. I played sports, smoked pot (late 70s early 80s) average grades. For 4 years I was called fish lips. Bullies punched me class clowns made fun of me. I ignored it. It hurt. Finally graduated, got a decent job and people made fun of me for being thin even though I was all muscle. It wasn't as bad as high school but still. Then my metabolism changed and because I smoked a lot of pot I started to get fat. Now I'm fat and can't lose weight. I'm really unhealthy. When my wife gets angry she calls me names...always having to do with being fat. My 2 step kids learned to do the same so once in a while as adults they will say something nasty. My biological son already has weight problems at 25. He didn't have any problems with weight while in school. He wasn't athletic but he was friendly and stuck up for kids being bullied. For that reason alone he was bullied. People are mean and its so much worse when its people who supposedly love you. But I feel for you young people. I know what it can be like. I know what its like to feel suicidal. All I can tell you is to take care of yourself. Physically so you don't end up like me and have a heart attack at 50. But also take care of your mental health. There are numbers to call....those numbers weren't around when I was young. Stay strong!

People would think she has BV which is sad but hang in there. You're a strong pretty lady. Jeez, she's a good pitcher.

It's making me reconsider all the times I assumed someone needed a trip to the OBGYN. But really, this poor girl, or anyone with this?!? You'd think they'd figure out how to replace the protein these people don't have. Monthly shot? I'd take injections to not go through life like that.

@@BrookeMcLymond Definitely makes me reconsider BV too...thought every time I smelled that on a woman, I thought it was BV. Maybe it's not.

I am wondering this digestive problem could be also be addressed with probiotics. To address the digestive system. Perhaps a treatment such as Is used for ulcerative colitis? I know my IBS is nowhere in comparison, but when I have a severe flare does increase an unpleasant body odor. I usually can "smell" myself more before I have a flare up. I just increase probiotics to a crazy amount and it gets better. I pray that she finds an additional treatment. Her self esteem is fabulous. Goals and energy for her future are so commendable!!! You go young lady!
