Well in her case she wasn't "born different," but was a victim of bullying . It wasn't something that was simply caused by horsing around with her friend either . Her jaw was already vulnerable from multiple insults as a result of being bullied in the past and the paralysis sounds like a complication of her most recent surgery. I'm sorry that the bullies who started this we're never brought to Justice and that maybe her parents didn't have alternative options at the time like private school or homeschool . What happened to her is unacceptable and school's not always a safe environment for everyone .

@af.9803 Жыл бұрын
You are right! For the quick research I did, FND is not really something you are born with and it doesn't "come out". The theory was that it was caused by repressed trauma that was held in the body and eventually erupted. But now with studies its known that there are multiple factors across a lifespan that can cause it and perpetuate it. Example childhood trauma (psychological trauma ) and physical illnesses as simple as migraines. The dystonia however can be inherited, acquired or idiopathic. Probably acquired in her case unless she has family members with it. Its kinda complicated and I dont know everything. Definitely not born this way. This is very sad that abuse done by others caused her all of this.

I once had a bully who tricked me into thinking that I was his friend almost molest me by trying to stick his hand down my trousers, then show me his d***. I was about 12 or 13. Then not long after, when on a school trip to a Jewish Synagogue for Religious Studies, I went to use the toilet before leaving to get back onto the coach. This above bully who was still tricking me into thinking that I was his friend managed to bash open the cubicle door to try and see my privates. I in fright jerked slightly causing me to piss on the seat. When he saw that, he announced what I did implying that I had done it on purpose - “urgh you pissed on the seat in a religious building”. I couldn’t clean up because he kept sticking to me like glue and the teacher kept telling us to hurry up etc.

I was bullied relentlessly as a kid and later as a teenager. I was beaten up, spat at, kicked, pushed around, called every name under the sun, threatened and chased after school. All because I looked different from other kids. When I was 6, I was prescribed a medication for my bad allergies which made me gain some weight. When I was 11 I entered the classroom and accidentally tripped on my classmates backpack for which he slapped me in the face in front of all the other kids and called me a fat pig... teachers never cared and I didn't tell my mom fearing the bullying would only get worse... I've just had a surgery for a broken, infected jaw in the UK about 6 weeks ago. I was given this yellow piece of paper to sign, with a long list of potential problems that can arise from having the surgery. I imagine that this paralysis was one of the things on the list, but had no choice but to sign it so I could get the surgery. I have a few problems since, like numbness in my chin area and this tugging at my ear. I hope this goes away in time as it will be very annoying to live with. This video puts in perspective how bad it could've gone for me I suppose. My surgery was delayed 24 hours and think this caused my infection to be as bad as it was. I'd kind of like to sue, but don't think I can.

idk what you consider bad but I was purposely sneezed/coughed on, tripped in the hallway to a point I fell with full force, had an egg thrown at my head from a kid cycling past (walking home from school but happened close to the school) another time right as school day ended, I had a tennis ball thrown at my head at full speed. it just barely missed me, I felt and heard it fly by my right ear. had it hit me, I have no doubt I’d have been knocked out and suffered greatly. I’ve also had sweets (candy) thrown at me, shockingly in two separate occasions with two different groups of people. I’ve had the back of my chair kicked in two different occasions. of course I was also called a bunch of names too. aaaannnd idk what you would even call this but one time I was in the corner of the tennis court (inactive) during lunch break when a guy I knew came up to me to tie his shoelaces. this was a regular occurrence. (I realise now that he was flirting) BUT on this one occasion, another kid saw the vulnerable position I was in (kneeling with him standing in front of me) and decided to push the guy into me. he managed to put his arms out so that he wasn’t moved much but the ordeal ended the shoelace tying streak.

So recognisable. Although my bullies also used to hit and stomp me, it’s the verbal abuse and the constant fear of being targeted that can break you. I was bullied from age 7 until age 17. It was terrible and I didn’t want to go to school. I wasn’t a bad student, in contrary I was better than most of the kids in my class. Something that also seemed to trigger the bullying. Now I am an adult in my fifties and I still remember everything. For me it was probably my low self esteem, a lot of self hate and not fitting in the herd (because of a bad home situation)that triggered the abuse. Sadly my daughter was also bullied for a while. I told her to be no victim and to fight back (I never had the courage to tell my parents about the bullying). This is exactly what she did. In the girls bathroom she cornered the “leader” of the bullies, grabbed her by the throat and said that from now on the pestering would stop or she would be worse off next time. Well, I do not condone violence but if you are treated violently, sitting down for a nice chat doesn’t work. After the “toilet incident” no one ever bullied my daughter again. I’m so proud of her. It’s because I believed her and supported her that she had the courage to fight back, she told me later. I did go to the school to talk to the teacher in charge because I deemed it necessary for the school to know what happened. There was a talk with both girls and they never bothered each other again.

I hope the bullies go to hell. Because they got away with this, so they deserve punishment.

Chelsea -you ROCK!!! I'm so sorry all that happened to you but you've come out on top. I pray that they can make your hand work again and your pain and discomfort can go away. I also pray that those who treated you horribly will someday reflect on their behavior and feel remorse for what they did. You go, gurrrl! 🥰🤩💃

Those assholes were jealous of her because she's beautiful. She's very pretty and people are resentful of this. I can't believe these people haven't been prosecuted for hurting her!

This is INSANE. Why do bullies not get adequate punishment in the U.K.? The filth that did this to her should be locked up!!!!!

You are a beautiful young lady with an amazing attitude towards adversity and life. I am so sorry you were bullied by all those people. I hope the boys who punched you in the face were arrested and punished. Some people are disgusting.

Parents should have being suing these bullies and at the same time teaching their daughter how to physically defend herself! Her hands would have been weapons.

I feel like the most severe cases of bullying I hear about happen in Australia and the UK. Wtf is going on there that is making the kids so evil??
@alejandracruz7868Ай бұрын
Omg, I'm so sorry about that, people can be cruel sometimes, don't listen to the people who want to criticize you or judge you for who you are. You are beautiful and pretty on the inside, and God created you perfectly!!!!

I was slammed against a locker by a boy and his friend who laughed at me as I heard the biggest pop of my life from my knee. I completely tore a ligament and partially tore my tendon and my knee popped. I also had a fracture on my kneecap. I was in a brace for several weeks, needed to use the elevator and was taunted by the boys who did it. I never regained full function in my knee and it constantly locks or weakens especially when I’m doing stairs or running. I was also shoved down the stairs and broke my thumb and was casted for several weeks. These weren’t that far apart either.

The only thing more beautiful than your outside is your inside. What a positive attitude; the joke is on the bullies. Nothing is dulling your shine. 💖

I really hope those bullies at least got sued, if not put into prison for the horrific crimes. I’ve always wondered what evil force makes people want to attack innocent people. Some sort of mental illness or something? Because that’s not normal

There was no reason for people to bully her . She was just minding her own business . And all these bad things just happens to her. Did any of these people that hurt her pay the consequences? I feel so bad for her. But she’s tough and she still pushing on. Good for her. ❤️

That’s what happened to me. In school I always minded my own business, and scums would bully me for no reason. I still think about it because I have depression now.

bullying is traumatising. i'm 26 and i'm still traumatised from all the bullying i was subjected to. of course, i wasn't bullied to this extend. but this is a story i believe more minors should watch and learn from.

Dear loving parents if your kid ever say he or she can't go to school don't just ground them or punish them just listen to them .
