The search algorithm has been weird lately. I can relate to the above. I grew up in a society where MRKH is virtually unknown and a woman is expected to be a breeding machine. My inability to have menses was attributed to witchcraft and this meant going from one witch doctor to another. I was psychologically affected and lost all the confidence as a woman. I was shattered to learn at a very young age that l had an undeveloped female reproductive system and would not be able to bear any children. I had no support even from my parents and my life’s experiences made me to be the strong woman l am today. I’m 49 years , got married, divorced and only learned about 3 years ago that l was just one in 5000 woman when l moved to the USA. For the first time in my life, l felt like a real person as there is no discrimination for the barren woman and there are support groups for women with my condition

And thank you for your kind words, dear Emily. I am pushing 70 and I have Slavic ancestry. Allow me to relate a story to you that I was told decades ago....In Russia, a person who had some type of infirmity, crippled or in a wheelchair, a poor, homeless beggar who couldn't work because they were paralyzed, or blind, etc.were called "The Blessed”, and people would go up to these people with cupped hands and ask for their blessing because through them and their infirmity God's work is being done, allowing the compassion and kindness of others to be shown....We don't know what God's plan is for any of us, and something that can seem like a bad thing can, in fact, be a wonderful blessing, so we should thank God for all things, even if we don't understand His Will for us. I'm sure that Got is very pleased with you for accepting His Will and having the courage and openness to be you. Maybe you have seen the man who was born without limbs and his phenomenal strength and courage preaching online. You see, Emily, you and he are the type of people who can change the world by showing others the faith you have in God's Will. God bless you, dear one. I will remember you in my prayers. 🙏♥️🌹

Modern women in the west actually have it easier than men, which is why young men in particular are checking out at a massively alarming rate: -Affirmative action -no fault divorce were they can clean out a man (women initiate close to 80% of all divorces) -not held to any real standards like their grandmothers were (sleeping around, tattoos, bringing b@stard children into the world, etc.) -giant government programs, many of whom women use extensively. Allows women to toss men in the trash and not cooperate -men die far more in war, more violence happens to men, men live shorter lives, most hard manual labor jobs are performed by men, most dangerous jobs are performed by men, men have massively higher instances of homelessness I could go on and on and on, but a good saying is, modern women want the authority of a man with the accountability of a child.

I have this condition too, and it’s comforting to find a video of someone else with the same thing. Dilator therapy has been something i’ve struggled to really keep up with because you have to start from pretty much nothing and go through the pain of effectively making one yourself. I used to have these plans to have children and a partner and getting the diagnosis at 15 made me re-evaluate what the future would look like (although there are other ways and adoption would always be an option too). Seeing videos like this makes me feel more ‘normal’ and this girl seems lovely🤍

I know it’s super tough that we have had to change our life plans and that things won’t go the way we originally hoped, but there are still options for us. Uterus transplants have come a long way in the past few years, and science&technology are moving so so quickly, so who knows what options there will be in 5 years - it’s exciting! Adoption is a beautiful option, and definitely not one to dismiss - after all, loving any child is what motherhood is about. You are normal and you are beautiful! You are a beautiful lady. Everybody is different, no one is the same (not even twins, or more multiple births). You are beautiful, as you are (inside, and out). Although, I understand how hard it can be to open up (about being different), and have others be cruel, and judge you..... I am a lesbian, myself, and it took me years, and years to be able to open-up to others (to my friends, and family), which I kept to myself for 17 yrs. It ALWAYS takes courage being yourself (straight, LBGTQ, or being born a different way). I love the song that Kelly Clarkson sings, called: "You Can't Win!" To me, that song says it all...... Who can win, or who can lose - no one is perfect. PEOPLE SHOULD LISTEN TO THAT SONG ("You Can't Win!", by Kelly Clarkson), IF THEY HAVE NOT, YET!! Everyone is someone - special, and youneak!! Feel beautiful the way YOU ARE, who else WILL?!?!? ❤😊❤😊❤😊

@@emilygreen4686 I just watched that video of "This Is Me!" from The Great Showman. I do not think, I have heard it, but some of the words / sayings in it seemed familiar to me, so, maybe part of it I knew, but that video of it was powerful. I enjoyed it, very much!! I did tear up, some, watching it, too. Thanks for telling me about it. The video of it, really put the motion into the song of it. Have you heard that song, "You Can't Win", from Kelly Clarkson (I love that song, too). ** FYI - True story: I use to work in Day Care (with Infants), and about 22 yrs. ago, there was a boy, who I knew that was in the Infant room (around a year old - take, and, also give a few months), and he did not have a BM hole (when he was born), so he had to wear a sack at the side of his hip (lower stomach area), and the bag would hold his BM (when he went #2). When changing his wet diaper - the sack had to be squeeze out by hand onto the old diaper he was wearing to empty out the sack. During, the day, the bag had to be changed to a new one, about once a day, or so, or if it happened to come lose from sticking to his skin, plus cleaning the skin area, and (I think) needing some kind of cream / ointment around the area, before sticking a new bag on. NO one in the Infant room (the other teachers, I worked with) did NOT want to change the baggie part (they changing his wet diaper, and emptied the BM baggie, only), but I stood up, and told them I could, so his mom showed me how to take off, and put on a new BM bag. It was NOT really that hard to do. Back then, I did lots of baby-sitting jobs with the families from the Center, too, and I would baby-sit him, also. It felt like a great experience to learn a different technique for someone who was born DIFFERENT. ** NOTE: When the boy got a bit older (like 2, or 3 yrs. old), he did have surgery, so he could have a proper way of going BM, and not wear a BM sack, his whole life. So, your story, reminded me about that experience, I had, once..... Ways to be helpful to others in need!!

My friends would say to me all the time "you're so lucky you don't get a period" and in a way it would make me feel less of a woman. The big thing that really got me is that I will never be able to experience pregnancy, that feeling of bringing life into the world. There's no reason to feel less of a woman. There is such a vast difference between male and female that the two genders are Ike two totally different species. There are more differences between men and women than between tigers, pumas, leopards and cougars. There is basically nothing that's exactly the same between the two genders, so the list of differences is VERY long. Although it's the most important part for reproduction it's nevertheless only one part missing for identifying as a woman. You can still be proud of your femininity. After all my experiences in life I actually would have preferred a female friend with this condition for various reasons, but I've decided to just go on alone anyway. Enjoy the full you as you are.

Emily is a wonderful person. She radiates such warmth. P.S. Growing up, I also felt like less of a woman because I have Turner Syndrome. I'm short, my ovaries don't work, my thyroid's messed up... And every day the only thought in my head is being afraid of running out of my hormonal pills, or not being able to get them and "reverting" to the body of a child and then getting menopause symptoms on top of that. My condition took the joy out of my life.

It’s so taboo and rarely talked about so most people have never heard of it - including those that get diagnosed, so it’s even more isolating! That’s why myself and others try to raise awareness so that any girl newly diagnosed can find comfort in realising they aren’t alone 😊 thank you for your kind words and for watching and commenting ❤

I think it is amazing that people want to tell their stories. You never know who you might be helping by talking about your journey.
