Why is it that the obscenities version of Tourette’s syndrome is more stereotypical, when it’s the least common form of Tourette’s syndrome? As far as I know, it’s the rarest form.

tbh a lot of things are like that such as anorexia being the most “stereotype” ed yet it being the least common. maybe it’s due to it being the most shocking outwardly?

I think I got Tourette’s as a side effect from a medication

Tourettes is a neurological condition, it's something you're born with. Some medication can cause tics but that's purely a side effect of the meds. If you've never had the tics before taking the medication it means you don't have tourettes :)
