I've met her at an anime con, and it was a great experience! We were both dealing with some mental health challenges at the time, and while I don't dress like that every day, I enjoy cosplay, and various kinds of street fashion, and it was a great experience meeting up with others who have similar interests at anime conventions. Sometimes I wish I had the courage and ability to dress more colourful and cute on a weekly basis because it does make you feel really cute and happy!

You know you're getting old when the first thought that pops into your head is 'what do they do for a living to be able to afford to buy all this stuff as well as pay rent, bills etc? ;) She moved to live in that house during design school ON HER OWN too, so she didn't have to work full time either. I'm just so intrigued and nosey. Quite something to have all the things she has without having had to graft a horrible full time job whilst living in a grotty share house with 4 other people. She seems to have sailed past that rite of passage. I have no idea who has been funding her life but lucky, lucky her. ;)

When she was moving into an apartment on her own straight out of design school. That era, I meant. People's finances interest me the older I get, it's nothing personal whatsoever. It's an old person thing. I couldn't care less about people's private incomes etc when I was in my early 20s. But now...;)

Someone watching a video about someone's personal story and expressing curiosity and their honest reaction to salient (or discreetly overlooked key information) is nothing to get angry about. Her personal life is nobodies business and pushing people directly for more revelation than they're comfortable with is never a mature thing to do. Tactful wording and being able to poke fun at oneself when expressing honest reactions and questions about content made for mass consumption is important. I wish her well.
