Yeah, I wouldn't say anything if the kids at least looked happy but they look bored out of their minds. The boy that sits besides him for most of the video looks vacant and on drugs (not implying that he is, but he does look depressed). Truly people who can't get excited for anything anymore. This really made me value my teenage years. At 15 we were still playing childish games around the neighborhood, having big barbeques, I had almost zero fashion sense (in a good, innocent way) and turned my hair green trying to turn it blonde at home. I wasn't dirt poor but far from rich and I was happy and healthy. My first car was a used one but I was privileged enough to have it on my doorstep as soon as I got my license, I had it for 7 great years and I still miss it. You don't need all this crap, you need good moments and good memories. And yes, sorry but definitely nouveau riche...

That environment seemed INCREDIBLY stressful. You could feel the tension of complete hollowness, complete shallowness in the entire video. I am a very wealthy person too, but my life is SO different. We have more of a balance of living a nice lifestyle but having balance and some level of humility. I live in an upscale southern california ranch community close to the original Reagan Ranch, so there is a lot of money around here, but people are WAY more down to earth and not constantly obsessed with money. I hope his kids are happy, but they don't look happy at all. All of the materialism is superficial. I have rich friends and rich relatives. Sone struggle with drug use, alcohol abuse and emotional stress. I’m not here to tell anyone what to buy their kids I’m just here to share my observations about those in my circle that can buy anything they wavy, except happiness within.

I had a kid who I worked with during an assessment whose background information I had to get, so I asked him. He told me his parents were divorced but still lived together, along with his dad’s girlfriend who he called his “other mom.” It sounded so out there that I had to call his mom and confirm before putting it in his report. She told me it wasn’t true and he was just pulling my leg. And we laughed. I thought, “Of course that wasn’t true.” 🤣 And here I am now watching this and the story about his two moms and dad living together now seems less out there. 😂

The problem with spoiling your kids is that you make life too easy for them. They learn nothing. They'll be at a huge disadvantage when money is no longer there. They wont be nearly as competitive as kids who grew up in hardship and are disciplined, intelligent, creative, and very hungry for success. I can tell those kids are very unhappy. No meaning in life anymore. Being given everything at an early age without earning it is like putting in cheat codes into a video game: you suddenly have everything, but subconsciously you know you haven't earned it, so you suddenly start becoming bored with the game.

Has a maid and a housekeeper and a grounds person, also has multiple teenagers in the house. Why can’t the teenagers make their own beds, clean up their messes in bathrooms, prepare their own snacks and meals? By having private house staff tend to all the chores while you party, your kids don’t have to loft a finger because it’s already been done by someone else. It results in kids and teens not developing a work ethic, or knowing how to do basic self care things for themselves. Teenagers should be doing their own laundry, not the maid doing it. They probably have a laundry room like 400-800sq ft in size, with maybe 6 washers and 6 dryers, easy peasy lemon squeezey everyone could do their own laundry on a routine schedule. The grown ups could be responsible for towels, blankets and linens. Do these people buy new pillows for their beds the moment they become flat and uneven? Do they have a Gordon Ramsey Masterchef style pantry with a walk-in fridge? How any kitchens do they have? Why not make the teens EARN their first cars instead of gifting them like Oprah did? These kids and teens will never work real jobs, bc everything is provided to them, they don’t lift a finger, and there’s zero incentive to do anything for themselves.

This family (well, him) are truly obscene. I was glad they were on Below Deck because they were rude and obnoxious and we got to see that not just the other horrible Americans on Below Deck could be such. And the fact that he said his daughter had no respect when she drove on the grass hit the nail on the head. They are not being taught good values, self-sufficiency, the value of a dollar and working for it, etc. They are "new money" as he admitted and it's just nauseating how he has to tell you the price of everything. And they breed dogs when there are so many homeless dogs needing a home. I just can't watch them anymore. It's so sad how these kids are being brought up and spoiled.

Why would people be mad at how others spend their hard earned wealth, in this case their own children. If the kids are raised well and taught the value of money I don't see a problem why any outsider should question whether or not they deserve that life. I completely agree, this man is making his money himself and no one is financially supporting his kids but him. If he wants to spoil them and buy them $300k cars then he can do that, they are HIS children and HIS money! It is no one else’s business. Society is far too comfortable trying to tell other people how they should be raising their kids when it is none of anyones business!
