I hated that dress but thought the rest of her looked great. show another every day style like the outfit on the 2nd one with the goth woman would have looked great on the 1st woman. the over the top princess/prom dress just looks like playing dress up- not a taste of an actual other style of clothing

The last makeup artist, Suzi was the best MA I've ever seen on this channel! She communicated with her client, her skill's on point, she actually did covered the whole body include the backside AND she helped the client taking off the makeup in the end!

Oh my gosh she looks stunningly gorgeous both ways. The peach prom dress actually looked pretty. When I was her age I was all pierced and 00 lobes. I got older and of course the tats stayed but I'm way more girlie now. We change. Let's see them 10yrs from now. Beautiful girls. The mom at the end brought me to tears. I had a narcissistic mom and I would have loved to hear those words. Hug your mom as much as you can she's awesome.

Well, this is a guy with dreads the color of sea foam - to say the least. My ex was like that; any "normal" clothes were deemed 'ugly and boring', and he thought his black jeans and band tshirts made him look "unique" (instead of immature) . I'm totally fine with goth and punk looks *that are stylish/cool*; but overdoing it just looks like a costume at some point 🤷‍♀️

What a shame that they didn't even try to create an outfit that would also suit the personality of the first girl. I don't understand why they give them things that they have specifically said they dislike. They should be given makeovers that they look forward to. They get already apprehensive the minute their shoes and clothes are delivered. 😔

I agree. They just need to change what doesn't work with a certain body type or face shape. For example, a large woman might want clothing that gives her a waistline without always hiding under black tent shapes. The bright yellow top with horizontal stripes did the exact opposite: it drew attention to the midriff and made it look super wider. That's the top suited to an anorexic.

Jen's as-is look is top drawer. Hair style with off-centre mass on top is perfect for her face shape and avant gard. Blond wig shows mistake many Asian girls make with the straight, long hair, flat on top: it makes a squarish cranium look even wider. The red velvet dress was like old curtains, bulky in the wrong places. The way Jen uses oversize clothing puts the bulk higher and gives her a very good line. Many of the others here are using weird look to cover up an eating disorder. Jen looks fit from the get-go. It was all fun.

Not to be a meanie, however they picked out the most unflattering clothing especially the 1st young lady the wig and dress looked like a Party City costume. The 2nd look like she had her great auntie's clothes on. The key is to make them look as normal as possible.
