I caught my first 20lb carp from Barden 30 years ago. A lot of those fish have a kink in the tail as |I remember.

@@crashnburnband that’s so cool mate! 20lb carp back then would have been amazing wouldn’t it 😁👍🏻 Well I am hoping to get back down there again some time soon, let’s hope for a 20lber or bigger on the bank 😎

Unfortunately recently been hid with a case of KHV most big ones gone

@@beaney7788 it’s terrible isn’t it, I feel for the locals there, and obviously for the fish. It is an amazing water to fish, and everyone has been super friendly round there. I know the fish in there now will grow, and people will look forward to catching some chunks again 💯

Used to have around 11 40's in at the right time of year, With a couple nudging 50+! After the fish kill in more recent times some of the bigger ones have gone but the back up stock is still ridiculously good. I was fishing for Tench back in 1995 when the first Simmo's went in and they packed on weight proper fast. First light and dusk its like Sea World the shows were mental. 👍

@@steveslot_botter83hollands80 😱😱 woah!!! That’s an impressive stock for an awesome park lake 💯👍🏻 I may have to join the ticket. Thank you for the insight 💯

@@CarperDad be silly not too really as it's at its quietest it's been for a very long time since the bigguns passed... And it's not an expensive ticket either. Give it 3 or 4 years and it will have a mega stock again. 👌 Also massive Tench and Bream along with most other Species in there it's a true gem of a water a legitimate Park lake Pit. 😁

the club refunded everyone's tickets after the last big fish kill, they had a few outbreaks reducing the stock each time, baby brown is a mega fish, glad to hear it survived, I had the brown at over 50 in 2022 before it passed ,mega lake really enjoyed it, went through some serious bait, pure boilie munchers.

@@johnnybegood9560 the Balliff had said that to us about the tickets. Which was good of them. But it is a shame about the fish kill. That’s an amazing achievement mate, a very good fish to have. RIP. Boilie a good shout then?
