The eagles locking together is part of their mating ritual!! That’s a great sign for the nest!! Them breeding in the area is good indicator for where they are comfortable raising babies!

I was just about to write the same thing. Lock together as high as they can go, and then they spin towards the ground, and just before they hit the ground, they separate. This may last for a few days. Truly a once in a life time thing to witness.
@Targe02 ай бұрын
It can also be done during territorial fights, which would also be a good indicator that they will be breeding in the area. Though, stubborn ones can get into a fight and refuse to let go. It doesn't end well for those ones, typically.

I heard if they don't finish in the air they stay locked and could splat the ground? Tell me that's not true?

For crows, if you give them tasty gifts (like peanuts), and you make sure that they see you set the gifts out for them, eventually they will start bringing you gifts in return. A neighbor of mine did this for a few years, and she got all sorts of random things, usually colorful or shiny things; like lighters, coins, pens, batteries, etc.

the crow sounds from Re4 Remake actually started playing in my head when I dropped in the replies to this comment! 😂😄 and for those wondering it's a game that features crows that iconned their bird of death identity but in real they're such smart and resilient birds. am anxious to see how Bama gets his groove with the one(s) out at the Crimson Oak they've been inhabiting his five acre as far back as I can remember. probably as long as it's been there he's always had them and stoked to hear he's going up north for some small mouths. Such a gorgeous fish more known for their vertical stripe markings and after seeing the largemouth(s) on the turtle cam did you see how they were circling the cove where the turtle made his little entrance. literally looked like great whites at a seal colony. where they'll circle repeatedly bass do the exact same thing even dart into the shallows like the juveniles. their behaviors are so identical it's 🤩unreal 😎 as for the small mouths I hope he films his trip up there and shows some top water action like he's done in the past at the world famous Bama Delta and few other places he's fished. So cool that he'll be introducing them to 🤩Cedar Falls 😉 Can't wait! 😎

The blue Birds are checking out the eagle nest for a reason. If the eagles make a nest there, the blue birds will nest under the eagles. The eagles will provide security for the blue birds. During the winter months, the female bobcats will cluster, for protection and for hunting until mid January when they pick a male to hang with. I've seen as many as 8 females bobcats running together and hunting together. Bobcats have no fat reserve so they have to eat at least every 3 days.

The eagles were doing a "death spiral" aka cartwheeling. It's a pretty impressive way to court one another. Basically it's like playing chicken with your dates, if that doesn't convince them that you are the one they want to be with, it's hard to imagine what will 😅

It always surprised us how quickly the fish lost their fear once they saw a few crayfish darting out. Bass, sunfish, bluegill would all swim right up to us waiting for us to find them a snack. After awhile, they seemed to get used to us and start hanging around as soon as we got in. Especially, the Green Sunfish. They had no problem swimming right up to our masks. Looking forward to more of your videos.

I watched them in Alaska many times fly way up high could barely see them and then freefall with talent attached to each other spending spiraling down and then just, 50 feet off the water break separate it’s really cool.

The eagles spiraling is a great sign that they want to nest in the area and claim that territory.
