One of my favourite singles ever and featuring Andy Hill's trademark (at the time) bright and tight, sparkly and vibrant production values. The guy's a god! Never liked One Step Further but this really is the best in perfect pop! Never thought I'd see a video for this - so thanks very much.

Fabulous. Loved this track for nearly 30 years but hadn't seen the video until today! Thanks so much for sharing this!

Great to finally see the promo clip for this fabulous song. from Bardo from 1982/83! Thank you Steve, for sharing this video and your talents and those of Sally-Anne with us fans from way back then. I would also dearly love to see the promo clip for Hang On To Your Heart, if you also ever did make one for this song as well?

Should have been a HUGE hit, sounds very Bucks Fizz, Are You Ready.

A lot of the lyrics are indistinct due to the busy backing. Song's alright but not a patch on One Step Further.

Looks like this was an attempt for them to try and crack the American market in '82. If there's any one criticism I have of Andy Hill, it is that, at times, the vocals get lost in the production; that's the case here. They might have been better off with "One Step Closer" with a modified dance routine. I think the guys would have gone for Sally Ann Triplett.

I would have rather gone for Steven, even though he wasn't a bear LOL

Shame that after One Step Further this was chosen as the all-important follow-up and was nowhere near good enough. Had this been on Bucks Fizz's latest album at the time Are You Ready it would have been the weakest song on it.
