Bare bones CERAMIC COATING PREP wash!

Preparation is everything when it comes to ceramic coating application and durability. So in this series (just two videos) we're going through the proper steps to wash, decontaminate and remove mineral deposits from your car BEFORE polishing/ceramic coating. It's a video where we really zoom in on the basics, including how to use Rinseless Wash and use our decontamination towel. Plus we go through the ins and outs of a clay towel vs clay bar. Did we mention no pressure washer necessary for this step? It's all about the basics in this video....

I really dig the older building and the bare bones look. I have to say it looked like a jail with the bars on the windows and door. Its cool for being an old shop. Hopefully you guys do a video on shop setup in a raw space.

I would love to see this with a used tesla. I bought a model Y when the price changed and have not been a traditional car guy. I really enjoy washing/waxing my car as its a dream car for me. I am sure I am not the only convert that is pricing limited dealing with my new favorite car, especially on the youtube space (tech folks and youtube searches do go hand in hand.). I went ahead and bought your gold standard and pad to use with my orbital sander to do some paint correction as it has some significant swirls.

Rinseless inside the house 😂 I do it all the time. Its useful on the interior, I cleaned my leather wheel in my Mercedes with it (I'm not sure if you're supposed to but it looks so clean, just made a detailing spray solution and sprayed it on a towel, rubbed it for a while and it took a second... Then all the dirt came off at once) So nice.

My mother in law bought this exact car color and all 2024. I put a ceramic coat on it at 1200 miles on the odometer. Subaru dosnt put a lick of wax or any type of sealant on the car. The paint was so dry and contamination stuck to it like glue. It was sad that dealerships can't even throw a quick spray wax on it when someone purchases a 40-50k car.

Could you spray the vehicle with the hose before rinseless if you don't have a bottle or sprayer then sponge down? It's also great to know you can rinseless and use "Iron remover" then hose off.

Could you not use the Waterspot remover the same way you use the iron remover instead of spraying all over? Spray one spray on a microfiber and one spray on the panel, work it it in order to get even distribution and light agitation of the mineral deposits before rinsing? Makes more sense to me.

I can’t find that exact sprayer anywhere. It’s definitely not on Amazon. There is a T TOVIA version that looks nearly identical except the color. Parks Car Care also sells an MMM version. I ended up getting an AC Infinity 2L that’s very similar, but leaves a little to desired. Micro usb, no charging light or battery indicator. Pressure is ok, but volume and mist is great. It was only $30. I emailed them asking them to make some changes- strangely enough, it’s currently out of stock - so I’m wondering if they are coming out with a new updated version.
