The best thing I ever bought for my skin was the bare minerals starter kit that had all of those products and the bareminerals cleanser and moisturizer. I never thought I've spend so much money on make-up but the results were amazing. I have very problematic skin and the ladies at the boutique sat me down, took all my make up off and showed me exactly what their product does. I've never had such an amazing experience with make up. I do it myself and it looks just as good as it did in the store.

I'm a new user of Bare Minerals after years of using liquid foundation and I have to say, I love it. I've had so many compliments on my look, except people don't compliment me on the 'makeup'. They just say I look good. When I tell them I have on makeup, I actually had people say "You're wearing makeup?' As an African American I have a lot of undertones in my skin but it works wonderfully. Not cakey or drying. Love it!

I have used BM since highschool and I graduated in 2001!!!😂 I have products that are over a decade old and still work just fine. QVC sells super sizes and all kinds of kits. I like itCosmetics pressed foundation as well. ❤❤

i have been wearing makeup since i was 12. I have never found a great product to cover my face without oilyness especially with Maybelline or Covergirl that I could afford. Now I'm 23, Bare Essentuals really cover my face with great natural finish and most importantly it does not make my skin oily. I love this product and have been using this product for 2 years! I'm so glad my mall of their boutique now I can drive to buy stuff instead of buying online!

the kabuki brush provides too light of a coverage for me, I use the concealer brush all over my face and it still looks natural and not too heavy, it amazes me every single time

@Caligirl4life555 - this thing is amazing. I have very sensitive skin and this acutally soothes it instead of irritating it more. make sure you get the mineral veil, the rev-er upper and their moisturizer.

I've been useing bareminerals for about 9 years. When I first used it they didn't have any foundation to Match my skin tone so I used medium biege. I sent them an e mail and Finally they made golden medium which matches my olive/ golden undertones. I use the same color in matte dieting the summer when I get more oily and tan (matte formulation is slightly darker)

@detfabulous I don't have perfect skin. I have some acne, and bare minerals works pretty good for me. It gives me an amazing coverage. Not so much coverage as to completely fade it out as normal foundations do, because i do have acne scars, but it does cover enough to make my face looks natural and flawless (: I actually really like it.

it really covers up leg veins. no joke. i don't use it on my face very drying. but i do recommend it as a leg vein cover up for women of color especially for brown skin african american or latin women. i used it with a cream consealer and got 100% coverage of the leg veins

U can get at a store like sephora or the mall...the package with everything will be $100 n somthing dollars but its sooo very worth it it comes with brushes and evrything u see n the video the foundation if u use it correctly should last u about 3-4 months...it lasted me that long n i had acne scars it covers very well i nevr broke out from it my skin actually got better from it and ur face looks sooo perfect and envious...im planning on buying more try buying it on tv its like $30 for the whol

The makeup is AMAZING. this is the only makeup I have every used looks really natural and great everyday look. The brushes suck though. Went to Macy's and bought some better ones. Been using for 5 years now.

@Rumpelstilette the access will fall/stay on your skin/face and it will look "unfinished". It's like having "extra" makeup on or "unnatural" or "cakey" or thick.

I find that I get creasing, around my forhead, and break up around my mouth and nose. How can I combat this? I moisturise and put bare minerals primer on the oilier areas on my face and use a mineral veil after. How can I stop this from happening or do I just need to reapply? This usually happens after about 8-10 hours of wear (I normally have my make up on for 14-18 hours) :S please help!!!

I'm in college right now and stress is killing with my final exams. I'm working on getting rid of my blemishes and acne right now but in the meanwhile, I need good make up not only to cover most or some of my flaws but also that it won't irritate my skin and make me break out even worse. the fact she keeps repeating "if u have dry skin.." proves that it doesnt really work on dry skin.. works best with oily skin since the minerals blend with oils of the face giving a more natural flawless look

@ezgiggs I thought it didn't give me good coverage, I have a really uneven skintone, I use the concealer brush over my entire face with the foundation and I get excellent coverage and it looks amazing :)

Why does she keep calling that "buffing" when she's just giving little quick swipes? When you move in one direction forward and then one direction backward, that's a swipe. When you move around and around in circles, that's a buff. She's swiping. Just sayin'.

+IsisTiamat it's actually very simple. It seems complicated because she explains every step in great detail.but I had serious acne scarring and I get full converage in under 5 min. Compared to other make up brands and steps suggested it really doesn't get much easier. I don't know if you have found something else now, but if not, I would give it a go :)

@dancedance61c maybe you are allergic like you said. Sorry to hear. Or maybe you need to clean the brushes because bacteria can build up and stay on your skin creating bacteria build up, itches [bacteria], and zits. Taking care of your products as well as cleansing your skin and eating healthy can result with healthy "clean" skin.

The matte version doesn't contain that ingredient. The original formulation irritates my skin, but the matte one doesn't. Some people are just allergic to it.

I didnt like bare minerals, it was very dry and if you try to apply for more coverage it ends up being way too thick and looks cakey, so you can never get it perfect.

not all people who use make up have flawless complexion. The models in the video have already gorgeous complexion. They dont need make up. I suffered from acne, i dont think this product will help me at all, hopefully bare minerals will use a model with not so perfect skin
