It's all about wrenching in this one! We build yet another engine for the troublesome Alpina B7. We go from a bare block, to putting the engine back in the car and starting it for the first time.

Sreten, well done! I do hope you had a schnapps or two that night to celebrate! That engine would have to be one of the most complicated series production automobile engines ever. V8, quad overhead camshafts, fuel injected, VVT and supercharged. To rebuild that with your meticulous attention to detail not only once but twice would be beyond most automobile mechanics. The fact that it fired up so readily and runs quieter than the resleeved engine I most sincerely believe augurs well. Engines have souls and the more carefully you put them together and the more caring you are looking after them, the better they reward you with exemplary performance.

It was a race engine with parts that had to be made with a wait time of months. 10 years later that engine is still running and competing in club sport meetings. I hope this time you have the same success. Great video. Congratulations from Australia.
