There was so much good information in this video! I love that you are very open about when to start pointe because I am not very good at ballet and I am always worried that I won't progress since I started late (5 years old, then stopped at 6 and restarted at 11). I am 13 now and my teacher has just given me permission to go on pointe! Very excited but I know it will be a painful and long process. Thank you for making this video! really helped me a LOT. :)

This is what I am looking for. I've just started to practice the point work 3 months ago. My foot are very weak and it is hard for me to know how to stand with point. So how to use the plat form, your explanation is perfect for people like me. I do appreciate this movie and look forward to watching next movie!

Just as you said, it’s important to make steady and continuous efforts to have a healthy and productive carrier in the future, and this truth can be applied to everything I think. Your clear explanation and demonstration are easy to understand. I think those are so helpful for young ballerinas. Besides, your techniques are so beautiful and great, they must want to be good like you.

Great video. Can't emphasize enough that as adults who have natural archy feet, don't be lazy with feet strengthening exercise because you have no difficulty getting on Pointe. We don't have the feet muscles of ppl who started training from a young age... I made the mistake of relying too much on my arch, now as long as I go on Pointe I have to tightly tape my arch or I'll feel this sharp pain in my arch as if my bones are gonna pop out from the top of my feet....now I do feet strengthening every day. As Nerea said, basics are important!! Don't cheat 😭
