Loving all these videos. I used to play barefoot back in the days after training sessions to try to hit harder toe tricks I was able to hit at the time. Now, I tend to avoid it to prevent injuries, but it was fun.

I only play barefoot but yeh the inside kicks have been very hard to train. I can string side to side outside kicks together but drop almost all inside kicks. When you go for any behind the leg stuff I have to kick with the sole of my foot. Still for me at least it beats cramming my foot in a shoe lol

I’d love to see a review of the Nike SB Adversary. I own a pair and think they’re great and super light, but I have no other pro shoe to compare them too

I've been avoiding it because of that giant swoosh, but it is on the list ;) Seeing that I might be able to find it in person will probably get me to buy it sooner; I'll check out my local shop soon.

On my pair, I was able to remove the inside swoosh easily and it drops a little weight and allows you to feel the bag a lot easier. Let me know if I can send pics for reference!

I just recently started training with a heavy chainmail bag. My toes cringed when I saw the thumbnail!

I just started learning last week. Here we can't go to parks etc. and if wanna go outside, must wear a mask so I am playing at home so I am playing barefoot and I noticed straight away about how hard the instep is to use. Also kicking a footbag is a lot different from the way you kick a soccer ball, right? Another question: I have 2 types of footbag: 8 panel Dirtbag and a 16 panel Sir Hemp Sand Lord. I have noticed 8 panel bags are extremely hard to keep up compared with 16, but 8 panel has better control as softer and doesn't bounce/roll so much. Is it best for a newbie to start with an 8 or 16 panel? I am just practising basic kicks/hack every day.

Welcome to the club :) Kicking a footbag is very different from a soccer ball: a footbag does not bounce at all, so you actually need to put a lot more effort into getting it into the air as compared to a ball. Regarding your two footbags: Lower panel bags generally require less break-in time in order to get stallable, but there could also be other factors of those two bags that's making them play differently from the other (for more info on that, you should watch Can I Kick It Ep. 1). I wouldn't say definitively "[x] panel bags are better for beginners," so I would use whichever one is easier for you right now.
