I would love to get this tool. Planting transplants is the hardest part of gardening for me physically. Yes, Lisa Ziegler is awesome! I learned how to block from her and had great success this year. She has detailed videos, books, and tutorials on her site.

A Pennsylvania company makes these right in the US, Stand n' Plant. I used the larger one this year on onions and it was awesome. They're cheap too. $100 for the big 2'' transplanter and $50 for the 1'' transplanter.

Did you ever find a replacement for the grocery basket to hold your 1020s while you're planting?
@BareMtnFarm4 жыл бұрын
No, But there are commercial products offered by tree planting supply companies that will work.😉

Which size Pottiputki for planting pine seedlings?
@BareMtnFarm6 жыл бұрын
I'm guessing you'd be using pretty young plants. I would think the 55mm would work. It'll depend on the size of the plug and width of the tree seedling. A 55 is about 2.16" in diameter.

T Who is your bulb supplier? And, are the white anemone "panda bear"? I will be putting in anemone this fall to see what kind of yield I get. In zone 5b, so the weather can get in the single digits which makes me believe I need to put them in center isle of hoophouse , not bulb crates.

Hi Rosie; In the U.S. the supplier we've used is Fred C Gloeckner or Onings Holland. Ednie Bulb for back east coast. In zone 5B you'd definitely need thermal protection. These guys are tough but below 25-28F they start to have problems.
