That deadlift form is perfection. Love watching your channel grow Nick. Thank you for your service!
@tiehut8 жыл бұрын
would it better to lower the bar slowly instead of dropping it?
@JoeAnklam8 жыл бұрын
tiehut all depends on your goals
@davejeon028 жыл бұрын
The whole point of the lift is the recruitment of the muscle fibers in the posterior chain then the actual concentric phase of contracting the erector spinae muscle... not the eccentric lowering of the weight. As long as you start the lift at a dead stop picking the weight off the floor (hence the name 'dead lift'), you're doing it right. Actually, focusing too much on lowering the weight slowly can really strain and damage your erector spinae and hamstrings which you don't want to do.
@MrCoder1018 жыл бұрын
Can you please break it down as to what a slow deadlift will build and what dropping the bar would build?

how do you lose fat without losing muscle?
@bogalert8 жыл бұрын
+tiehut do it very slowly
@Faun.Prince8 жыл бұрын
+tiehut theres quite a few factors to consider. your training style. are you doing hypertrophy/strength/power lifting style etc? i found my muscle mass maintained or only dipped slightly when i did my cut when i was running a strength program. (this is really subjective and to go into detail includes your time under tensiom and all that) also your diet etc. its inevitable to lose some muscle but you wont lose all of it. just track your progress and your overall strength.

If anyone is interested in the military but don't like the field, here's a tip: look into the other branches of the military before just picking the army or marines. If you join the army or marines, guess what? You will have to go out to the field, regardless of your mos, and set up and break down and wash tents (which may or may not have air conditioning) which can really suck ass badly. And you'll have to go without showering for a long time and deal with the heat/cold/pouring rain or snow.. If you look at the other branches, you won't have to go to the field anywhere near as often or at all. Going to the field in the army or marines is not like camping.

hoenstly, i cant fuckign stand vlog channels of gamers, theyre always similiar and so boring in my opinion, but this is always so exciting to watch, so much intensity every part of the day , the editing is beyond proffesional, the only Vlog channel that i can sit and watch and be excited throughout the entire experience, also the only channel where i am taught something new every time, even if you dont know it nick, you are probably the wisest person ive come to find on youtube who gives all of his fans motivation to get fit and learn new things, keep up the amazing work and i hope your channel gets the recognition it deserves.

Small correction LT....you said weeks and months later you would start thinking about what you miss about your experiences...i just want to add that decades in the future you will cherish your memories even more. You will also think about the men who serve as you are having a cozy family barbecue with loved ones in the comfort of your home. You will know there are men patrolling the perimeter and enduring misery and danger to keep us all safe. I think about that on holidays...when i am enjoying myself with family on some random day....i always remember there are those who stand guard and watch over us as we live our lives.

I always liked the ROK MREs, but then I also like kimchi. Some of the best MREs are the French ones that we got from some Foreign Legion troops. My second tour in Afghanistan, we found some old Soviet MREs in a cave, that despite being over 20 years out of date, were still good. I always loved the old Bradley, the Stryker was just not the same. I am an old retired sergeant, so I miss some of the older stuff that most of the kids today have not had the privilege of using. M110 8" self-propelled howitzer anyone?
