Hi Marcelina Noss, i checked my citrus and the 4 ph. Is that bad? How should i raise it to 6ph. You should include that in your future vlogs. Citrus getting a reading of low ph than normal required and how to correct it

i took some time and wrote out a lengthy process for you to follow, I hope you will subscribe and like mychannel for this info .. Just kidding but hope you do anyways :) Ok here is the plan for you: A soil pH of 4.0 is extremely acidic for citrus trees. The optimal pH range for citrus trees is typically between 6.0 and 7.0. To increase the soil pH from 4.0 to 6.5, you can take the following steps: Conduct a soil test: This will help you confirm the pH level and identify any other nutrient deficiencies or imbalances that may be affecting your tree. Add agricultural lime: Agricultural lime (calcium carbonate) is commonly used to raise soil pH. Follow the instructions on the product packaging or consult with a local gardening expert to determine the appropriate amount of lime to add based on your soil type and tree's needs. Incorporate lime into the soil: Spread the lime evenly over the soil surface around the citrus tree. Gently incorporate it into the top few inches of soil using a rake or garden fork. Avoid applying excessive amounts of lime, as it can raise the pH too quickly. Monitor and retest: After applying lime, monitor the pH periodically and retest the soil to ensure the desired pH range is achieved. It may take several months to see significant changes in pH, so be patient.
