Rob, when you got out of the truck, reminded me of when my husband parked my side next to a tree so I couldn't get out, I was over his lap & out his door in 2 seconds!!! He didn't do it again!! Another great vid, enjoy, so much, going with you, best, Carol

Hi CaroL! I didn't look too closely at the bird prints, and I later wish I had given them more attention, but the reason I set them down so quickly was I could tell they were just prints and not originals, and typically for artwork I like to collect original works.. but ya, I think next time I will probably grab those...

Great score (no pun intended) on all your uranium glass!! I've been finding bits and pieces but out here, they found out it's really the thing to collect. I buy a piece here and a piece there ... some of it is just outrageous in price. At a certain point you just have to walk away because it's pretty much guaranteed that it will be there next time you come back and hopefully less money. I stopped buying Pyrex because for one piece they are asking over 20 dollars and forget the ones' with the lids. Anyways, I love watching you get the good deals! Love you guys! ;-)

I just found your site. I watch Crazy Lamp Lady every morning and your site popped as a suggestion that I might like it so I checked it out and I am now I am working my way back through your videos. You do a great job recording! Not sure what mistakes they would complain about. I also like how you explain what they are and the price. You don't spin around and make people dizzy as a few I have checked out then left. Where do you sell? Ebay, Etsy, etc? I also think your a little low on some of your glass. Go to the site above and then checkout her Ebay under Crazy Lamp Lady, you will.be surprised what people are paying lol. Also Afghans (sp?) Are going for., also doilies and table scarves with the embroidery. Australia goes crazy for those because no one crochets or embroidery's anymore. You are also very polite! Love this new site and will be watching every morning while I eat breakfast!

Thanks so much MA Westbrooks!!! =D So far we are mostly just collectors, and the channel documents our collecting. So far, when Karen sells something, she's just used a local buy/sell app much like LetGo or OfferUp, but we've had a lot of people asking lately, and so we think this winter we are going to setup either an Etsy or Ebay shop and start offering items to our viewers. Any info and resources that can help us achieve the next step into making Bargain barons our full time jobs is always greatly appreciated!! =)
@TheWyndrunner1595 жыл бұрын
I know a lot of sellers are boycotting Etsy as they are making the seller pay for the shipping. Also you can not bid on an item and multiple bidders will drive a price up. As I suggested checkout Crazy Lamp Lady both on youtube and Ebay. If you scroll down under info you will see links, even a FB page that will help you identify an item if your stuck! Good luck and I will keep an eye out for your sale site when yuh ou open it!

@@BargainBarons hey i just saw this as im binge watching your videos, i just left a comment that you two should open a shop in Canada, anyway one of Cincinnati pickers videos talks about on ebay one of the special shipping extras he pays for. and is well worth the money because of out of country orders. I guess the item goes to a central place in the us then ebay pays the shipping out of country. worth looking in to. or asking John, Cincinnati picker.

I love the books! ... I use them to decorate by laying them flat and putting something on the books one something next to them. You know, get that high, low effect. I bought some really old Bible commentary books once at a garage sale. The spines were ( binding) made with horse glue. Needless to say, I came home and our dog had eaten the bindings. :(
@inhisfootsteps55715 жыл бұрын
P.S. Speaking of collections, I connect Fiesta Ware ( anyway used too) I have too many sets and wonder why I have them now. As much as I love them... This lady I knew years ago had the really old pieces with lead in them. We used them anyway. But I fell in love with everything Fiesta. I have 21 sets and once a color is retired the value goes up. I missed the Lilac color I was waiting for. I went on eBay and they want 300.00 or more for that color. My daughter was also collecting. So she is going to inherit all mine and too many sets for one person. I to love the Uranium glass. I will have to borrow a blue light if I ever go to sales again. Sometime I will tell you about our move to California. ( like you would care) Can you tell I don't have any friends to talk to? LOL

Hi Skylar! Thanks for watching! *YES!* 😃😁 We love uranium glass. We haven't done an episode specifically on our collection but have featured it in an episode or two... Here's some photos: instagram.com/p/Bjk9CGggDoM/ I think there's 10 to scroll through there... the last 3 show a lot of the collection.

Ive never seen uranium glass here that I know of. I need that black light for scorpions though. Retired to high desert! Locals say they glow at night in a black light. I want to know the first guy who tried that?!
