Great price on the doors! I love them and could find a dozen uses for them. I see the used 3 piece metal sets here in Virginia a lot in the $125-150 range. Good work! Yours is prettier than the set I bought online about 10 years ago.

Those patio sets are usually cast iron. It's a real score for you to find them in aluminum; less likely to rust and much lighter to move around.

You should keep a journal, like your one antique store friend does, where you put the item, day purchased , maybe where purchased, and amount you paid, then if you sell something , put that sale price in there too. Maybe even have category sections like: mirrors, furniture, jewelery, paintings, photographs, planters, dishes, silver, books, religious, toys, etc. It'd be interesting to look back on; and it's a great way to track of spending vs sales. Plus, you could have a duplicate copy stored in a fireproof safe/box, in case your house burns down, Lord forbid, then, you'd have an itemized list of your antique contents, at least. Just a thought. I really thought his book of purchase price was a fantastic idea, because as we're all not getting younger, our memories are getting bad, except for the bad things our spouses do or say! Somehow memory fog doesn't ever affect that!! LoL

Yes we have a problem in our city with people stealing the tailgates off of trucks, so we lock it so it doesn't get stolen.

Hi Sandy!! We actually found out more about the pin after the video came out, that it is a thistle pin from Scotland and likely a kilt pin, unfortunately we have sold it to a friend. We will keep our eyes open for any more though, and we will be setting up an Etsy store this winter where we will start to list things we buy on the show.

LOL I know... I get alot of comments about that. It''s *ACTUALLY* to prevent our tailgate from being stolen - it's a problem in our city. You'd be amazed how quickly (15 seconds) a tailgate can be detached if it's unlocked.
