Yes, that is correct. Barge Canal Right off Jefferson. There's a boat launch there that works well for kayaks or small boats. There's quite alot of kayakers fishing for stripers and salmon! You should try it out if you live close by. :)

@@maxvmcoutdooradventures7695 I've taken my kids there to fish from shore and caught several small catfish out of there and a couple stripers around 5lbs. My kids loved it cause there was a seal that kept swimming around catching striper who'd float on his back and eat it. My kids thought that was the coolest thing ever to see a seal there.
