Something that has really helped me in addition to these great exercises is as I am going up in pitch with the exercises, I think and "see" and feel that I'm going to sing lower and lower, that I'm singing each "step" down lower in pitch...I notice my muscles move differently when I think, see and feel this way and I can reach the top note much much easier than when I think I'm singing higher on each step.

I appreciate you so much Aussie!!! Nuff respect from Jamaica 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
A real, powerful and very effective exercise!! I have just started retraining myself towards my old baritones with a variety of different exercises available in the web and the Aussie ones are easily the bests, especially this one. Today my throat slighly soars, I am almost fell ill, considered postponing the daily practice. Then decided to take a gently attempt with this one and I almost can't feel the symptoms! Hail from Budapest, Hungary, end of the world, keep up with thew good work! :)

Thank you for this. I haven't sung in years, and was just asked to do vocals for a recording project...I had no idea how much I'd lost. I can already tell a big difference in just three days. Subscribed!!

Update!! Been doing this one daily for over two weeks. Tried one of your others...and hit C5 in head voice descending!!!! You are awesome!!! I only have ONE break in my entire range now. I had 3 when I started!!!! Oh man!!! It's coming back!!!! Thank you!!!!!
@captainhennahead23235 ай бұрын
So my full unbreaking range is now C#2-A4 I can hit the C5 and come down...but need to work on ascending up to it. But....I hit it!! 🎉

Great work - your videos helped me to get my voice back after a long period of time! - Do you have a video for men on how to blend the transition between breast and head voice smoothly, without your voice breaking? That would be awesome!

That’s great to hear. Yes I uploaded a couple of videos in 2018-19 that help with the break. I’ll see if I can find the links.

Dear Ian In your vocal workout you include lips and tongue trills. Are they basically the same? Are there specific benefits for each of them? I love your excercises. All the best from Buenos Aires. Ramiro

Sir,first of all I'm a huge fan of you and your work, just wanted to ask that my comfortable vocal range is from F2 to A4...just wanted to ask that wether I'm a Baritone or not and will I be able to sing a C5 belted???Thanking You,Student Aniket
@pratimangautam65414 жыл бұрын
You're not a tenor until you can hit C5 naturally from cheat I guess. But you can achieve it with practice

great exercise, but my upper register is week an am start to break when reaching f4 any suggested excercises? my favorite singing style is classical or rock my rang start with a uncomfortable g2 , comfortable c3 and ends with a comfortable d4 and unconfortable e4 beore it starts breaking in f4

Getting too many ads now days why ??? In middle of video ??? Need explanation
@aussievocalcoach4 жыл бұрын
Rajan Khatri the ads on my videos help to keep my channel free. I could upload teaser videos and expect people to pay $200-$300 to get the full vocal workouts like other vocal coaches do, or give everyone my content for free with the expectation singers use the 5 second ad between exercises to take a sip of water 🤷♂️
