Is the man James R. Barker in any way related to the person that Barker's Island in Superior, Wisconsin is named after? Seems to me it's a good chance.

The one long and two short is a captain salute and the three long, two short is a master salute. Sometimes JRB does a captain salute but sometimes we are lucky to hear the full master salute!
