Hey Kevin I like your uncut style of fishing! It seems every time I watch I learn a little more how to catch skip jack.👍 Keep sharing the great tips.

Thanks dude. I do those sometimes because I e had people accuse me of editing out all the bad/no catch time to make the video look better. I’m like well, duh. I don’t think you want to watch me do nothing but cast . Lol

Hey Kevin, been awhile since I've commented. But I've been watching. Going to be on vacation early June and coming to LBL. Me and the girls can't wait to meet you.

you ever try to fish em live? skipjack are fun to catch especially when you double triple or even more at once. i noticed when they start acting like this when i feel a bite i just set it a lot harder. then i end up getting them. a lot of times they hook themselves but sometimes you really need to set the hook better. at least thats what i noticed with them. half the ones i catch are foul hooked so sometimes they are just hitting the bait with thier bodies. they are annoying sometimes though. ill be right next to my friend he getting em 4-5 at a time i cant even get one to the banks lol.

I did try that once but couldn’t keep them alive very long. You have any luck with that?

@@KevinFishes1 when i was getting the small ones with sabiki rigs i just filled up my tank a little on boat got enough for a couple days of trotlines drove home and a lot were still alive with no air running to it prob took around 2-3 horus, just enough space so they werent all overcrowded. i havent tried too much live bait. but i want to try to get flatheads sometime if i ever have time.
