“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong." - 2 Corinthians 12:10
My 1958 Plymouth barn find is just moments away from being able to drive on the road for the first time. Think it'll survive the drive and stay alive? Stick around to the end of the video to see just what we had to go through to get to this point!

Dylan, one of the reasons I enjoy your content so much is because you are real. You make mistakes, get frustrated, forget to tie the battery down, etc. It’s human nature to want to walk away sometimes, especially when you are exhausted and up against a deadline you realize cannot be met. The most important thing is that you know when to take a break, walk away, calm down and then come back with a clear head and forge on. We are often our own worst enemy but having a strong support system, family, friends and faith is what makes all the difference at the end of the day. Congratulations on getting through it and finishing strong! Looking forward to future content as always. God bless.

The young man that gave the toy car, he is a friend/schoolmate of my friends oldest son. He actually sent me clips of this, but told me I had to wait to see your video for all of it. He said you were/are a true gentleman with everyone around, genuine. It's people like you, taking time for everyone, and inspiring everyone, that helps keep the automotive world alive. We've all been at that point of giving up, and actually have given up. God knew you needed that young man, at that exact moment. The appreciation we have for your transparency, your drive, your creations, but most of all, your true to self, true to life reality. That's what keeps us here. You say thank you to us, we say thank you, as well, to you.

Dylan. Please give a shout into to your Dad. At time stamp19:33 your Dad said "turn up the radio", in reference to the drive shaft noise. I immediately thought of a friend who passed away 20 years ago. He was a die hard Mopar guy. He drag raced a 64 Polara in the nostalgia class at several local drag straps. When ever I was having issues working on my 67 Mustang and complained about a noise I couldn't figure out, he would say "turn up the radio". Thanks for the memory.

That car is such a trip down memory lane for me, My first car was a 1959 Plymouth Suburban station wagon (Not a GM Suburban, you know the real Mopar Suburban). It had a 318 two bbl, three on the tree, no power steering and no power brakes or as my Dad used to say "No power steering and no power brakes, it's got power to the rear wheels"! Don't worry about Mrs. McC only giving it a six out of ten you'll know it has her approval when she races you to the car so she can drive it.

Two things made me watch this 1958 Plymouth Savoy roadsteration. The first reason is because I stumbled across your video on the 1951 shoebox Ford. Loved that video! Back through the 60s and 70s uncle Herb always drove late 40s Dodge and Plymouth 4door sedans. Us nephews thought he was weird but as the years passed I grew to realize that uncle Herb had it figured out. He had cars that anyone could pick up in good condition for $50 - $75.00, they were easy and cheap to fix and tough as nails. I’d love to have one of his old Dodges as a daily driver today. On year he really went all out and bought aunt Margaret a 57/58 Plymouth that she roller painted with some free house paint and used as her daily driver for many years to come. The torsion bar suspensions in those later years was a huge upgrade. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.👍👍👍

👍🏻 so many things I like about this video. My favorite is the kid with the custom Hot Wheels. I'm really proud of you for not giving up on this car. I am also an old school car nut This car was born 5 years before I was. Dylan, you rock and your car is bad ass and all kinds of awesome!!

you take such pride in your work of restoring that plymouth. I watched every video. I wish I had your motivation restoring a car like what you did with the plymouth.
