In this fun filled episode, I actually got to work on a NICE machine! Haha! Joe, the owner of this fine machine found me on KZbin then on Facebook, where he asked if I could get the old girl running. Well thinking it would be too much to get running I didn't bring anything but my camera lol just to see if I would be interested in working on it. To my surprise this is a true barn find car and was really solid. He happened to have a few tools that I could use so I started the diagnosis process and in a hour she was running and even DRIVING! Beyond cool to be apart of getting this beauty on the road again and giving her new life. I also want to give a shout out to Joe for allowing me to work on it. After subscribing watching and liking all your videos, I have figured out you need some kind of penetrating oil sponsor so you can get it by the case. That way when you get a new, will it run project, you can pull the valve covers and soak it good for a couple of days before you start working on it and filming. Also hit those brake line bleeders and maybe save a few of those from wringing off. Thanks for taking the time to make the videos.

It's mind staggering how many amazingly cool old cars are just sitting out there rusting away, being destroyed by the weather or by punks. I sure am glad there's a few good folks who love them and care enough to give them a second chance to live again. Our whole culture is built around planned obsolescence and everything being NEW! NEW! NEW! every 5 minutes, and so we abandon and destroy all kinds of really nice, well built, dependable stuff, from cars to buildings to electronic gear to appliances, and even our relationships with each other. It's so incredibly wasteful. I "If it goes out of style, toss it in the pile" So many times, the "New Improved" thing is a chintzy, flimsy piece of crap (almost everything at Walmart) and you regret getting rid of what you had. Sounds like you might have one cylinder down on compression while you were cranking. . Likely a exhaust valve by the the clacking sound of the exhaust.

Oh, I meant to ask. Have you checked out the remote starter switches on amazon ? They work on 6v or 12v systems for 15 or 20 bucks. Sure would save you a bunch of getting in and out of vehicles cranking the ignition. Thanks again for the content and video. Your filming and editing have come a long long way.
