Looks fun, jcp anything that is gas powered is awesome and getting hard to find.

You can just externally mount a condenser instead of getting a new complete stator. Any 6v condenser will work even like a vw one from autozone.

You lucky ass. Man i have been looking for one for a while. Avery one around here think's there made of gold. But last year i did run across a sweet 85 Suzuki fa50 super low mileage for a 100. dollars. Hey i think yellow will be a better bike too. Great video my friend. Keep up the great work 👍👍👍

Thanks , ive had a few fa50 mopeds , they are pretty sweet little bikes , these are the first pintos i have ever had , it sucks that the red one is a goner , i wanted to do an engine rebuild on it but that would take it from a $200 mistake to a$600 mistake and thats before tires , tubes , a new carb and intake , stator ect so it unfortunately is a parts bike unless someone really wants a pinto and is willing to spend a ton of money on it ,

ok looks like im going to have to take back what i said , i found just enough parts in the US to justify a motor rebuild on the red bike , i just drained my bank account to do it :/ wish me luck

Those look like puch maxi engines.
@TheRandomMechanic4 жыл бұрын
Exactly , They are puch e50 motors which are used on the maxi , btw cool user name , the dude abides

This is a comment from your Marksman comparison since I can't comment there. Did you replace the loading barrel tip or keep the one on the original refurbished model?
@TheRandomMechanic4 жыл бұрын
i actually did both , i rebuilt two metal huntington beach marksman repeaters , one i kept the muzzle but replaced the barrel , the other i replaced the muzzle , i will note that the newer muzzle is a tighter fit and may require minimal modification to get it to fit properly ,

I found one near me with no spark and 5000+ miles and they want 900$ not running, what’s the max you would pay
@TheRandomMechanic3 жыл бұрын
Maybe 300 , i paid 400 for the pair myself and i think i still got ripped off

i say that because of several reasons , but mainly because they just arent good bikes , they break down constantly and everything costs an arm and a leg to purchase , i couldnt believe how much it cost to get these bikes to barely run , if you want it for a collectors piece id say try to grab it cheap but if your looking for a rider id urge you to find something else , in my opinion they look cool but they arent worth the headache
