Nice find and repair, I'm refurbishing a Dixon 4422 now, lots of bearings, lube, and TLC needed that it hasn't gotten in a while.

Thanks for very helpful review! I also found mebo robot in thrift store for $8.99. I find this robot perfect for crawl space duties. It's got camera, tank threads and bright flash light. I tried using a drone truck with built in camera, but traction was too weak to work in crawl space.

Baking soda neutralizes the acid by the way. Use that when you empty the tank if you dont want to reuse the acid

I think i recall if i remember at age 7 or 8 or maybe 9 years old either in 1985-1987, my dad's friend/ co-worker stopped by at my house on christmas eve or on christmas day and brought a wrapped box in a bag of gifts. My dad's friend told me it was for me, as a kid at that age i was happy, i opened the gift and the box and sure enough it was a tank with a remote control. What i remember was the silver barrel on the turret and seeing this video i now learned it was from Radio Shack, at the time of course i didn't care what Tony brand as i was so into playing with the tank. Seeing this video and other videos like this one i kind of second guess myself whether or not i had the 'Combat Tank' from Radio Shack or the 'Shernan Tank', but what i do remember well was that the remote control in this video of the 'Sherman Tank' was the one gifted by my dad's friend. The 'Combat Tank' Radio Shack model had a singular remote steering wheel controller, which i personally didn't like as i saw on another video on a different KZbin channel. Brought alot of memories, cool. Back in the late '80s and early '90s, i also had an RC race buggy which that too was cool. Nice review.

This rc car is the toy of my childhood. I’m 55 seconds into your video but was just telling my finance about how I had a cyber truck rc car as a child lol. I saw my first cyber trucks out in the wild today… and it made me remember the evader and the cinder block & plywood ramps we would build and how fast it seemed at the time. And how it was unfortunately only almost indestructible lol

Im very glad that after all this time people are still watching so thank you .
What would you recommend for the TP sensor cleaning? Can I use Throttle Body Cleaner, or better Electronics Cleaner? I have a different car (2001 Saturn SL2), but also P0401 comes back like after 30 mi. I found many good tips on that code in your film. Thank you.

I’m needing to do this to my tank very badly. But once I take out the acid. What kind of oil do I need to put into the tank to prevent flash rusting. That was the only vague info of the video. And I really need that info
@TheRandomMechanic5 ай бұрын
Like engine oil , 2 stroke gas will work , it will rinse it out and lightly coat the tank in oil do this a few times , pour some in shake and dump it out ,

By any chance do you have a wiring diagram of it? With the light s and everything

Sorry i dont but a wiring harness for an atv or even a 110cc buggy harness from amazon should work as long as the stator hookup is the same

The check engine light being off is cuz the battery was disconnected... not that it might actually be fixed, but I've literally changed every hose, sensor, valve and anything related to the egr system and I'm still getting a engine light, I literally have done EVERYTHING even remotely related to egr and still this damn light comes back, I do not get it

I just got one off of curb sale for 20 bucks. I appreciate the video. There's not a ton of content about them on KZbin from what I've found so far. Mine's probably going to need a little bit of love before it starts running.
