Really cute how she makes her voices with closed eyes! I hope they will have a good year without problems 😊

I would like some information from you. I got a pair of owls about a month ago and I want information on how to mate them

I asume the female thought he had food on his mouth, but did the female lower her head and let him mate with her because his screach scared her or did she just do it simply because he had no food in his mouth? Come to think of it, who dominates in a pair of barn owls? The male or the female?

Usually with birds of prey the female dominates! he has brought her food in first then mated but not on this occasion! thanks for watching!

I just hope the male here didn't use some type of sexual intimidation by turning instantly and screach at her Face to make her lower herself for mating, that Would be terrible cause this birds are truly beautifule when they Hunt

The other possibility I see here is that the screech Was just random and the female simply lowered hersel Down to mate after realizing that the male didnt bring anything (I noticed she looked down at his empty beak right before adopting the mating posture), she clearly got up thinking he had food
