I remember there were people who thought Cara was a lost cause. That she was a "crazy" horse. I just feel so proud that you never gave up on her!

wow, Cara looks AMAZING!! She has filled out so much and it's incredible to think about how she was before vs now. Great job!

I cant believe how far she has come! She walked nice on a loose reign and was easy in the trot with the poles. Although shes not perfect in jumping she has gotten LOADS better. your doing a wonderful job with her

It must be so difficult not to be "strong" with your hands on such a hot headed horse while jumping; you must trust her very much to be able to do so, and I have no doubt that with time she will start to trust your "new hands" and will eventually find her own rhythm. Honestly, you two are amazing, keep going Therese (not only with your riding but with everything!!!) xxx

Thanks a lot ❤️ it’s difficult to adjust to the fact that she’s actually calm now when she used to be so incredibly strong and stressed, I just need to stay focused enough and remember that hey my horse is actually listening now and I can relax too 😂💪🏼

A great video as always, Therese! It would really be wonderful if you could let in some raw clips (just with sound) when you're jumping, like the last clinic. As I struggle with the exact "problems" as you, it would be great to hear some of the tips and how you're doing them:D
@Hannewilh5 жыл бұрын
It wouldn't have worked, as the mic was too far away to properly record what he was saying and I would have had to edit around his sentences, the way it is now most of his sentences are cut short. :)

Thank you 😄 like Hanne said the outdoor is very big and when she stood outside the arena like she did to get the best overview while filming its difficult to get a good audio of what he’s saying :/ but I’ll keep that in mind with my future videos thanks for the input 🙏🏼

Ooh M Gee, look at Cara. She is such a beautiful mare. You have done an amazing job with her. You two are a perfect match. I have been following for a long time and remember all the hate and cyberinstructors leaving nasty comments. I sure hope they all see her now. From this first video of Cara to where she's at now is a serious tribute to all your hard work and commitment to her. She was horse that many people wouldn't have given the chance you did. Thank you for giving her purpose again and also letting her be her feisty little self in a controlled setting ♡ Cara's first video kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJ-YoH-wYtN0g7s

Hey did you ever tried Cara bitless? I am not a big bitless advocat, but am curious if it could help at least a little bit with her rushing and throwing her head. Some horses just are not comfortable with the bit no matter the rider.
@ThereseMoser5 жыл бұрын
Yep, shes horrible in a hackamore, she really hates pressure on her head more than pressure in her mouth hehe... me being too hard with my hands is most of the reason for her head throwing.
