Julia may pine for Barnabas' romantic love but after all they've been through together she could never doubt that he loves her in his own way. I loved it when Willie confronted Barnabas with the fact that he loved Julia when he was desperate to find her. The thought of losing Julia put him at Josette level anguish and he didn't rest until he found her.

I think that in the end he realized it and was fighting hard his feelings for her. Unfortunately, the show was canceled before we could see it realized!

The idea that Jonathan Frid did not care for Grayson Hall is bogus! From all the pictures, both on screen and off, just the opposite was obvious! They both cared very deeply for each other!

I loved Grayson Hall. The last I saw of her, she played Aunt Euphimia Ralston on my favorite Soap "One Life To Live". years ago. I was so glad to see her. This is a beautiful tribute to Julia and Barnabas. I'm realy enjoying the flashback!! RIP Grayson....I love you.

That was so beautifully done ~ really, really effective. My chest is still heaving... I'm going to say it again, as I go through my life and my experiences add up and my perspectives change and adapt, I see more and more depth in their relationship. I see something that is missing from the more obvious kind of passion that has so many tragic heros in and out of Collinsport chasing after doomed relationships with 'sweet young things.' Something hard to define that means more and more to me. And I wish everyone could just be okay with having different takes on all of it, that's what makes us People, people!

Great video- I always wished they could have gotten together too. All the more kudos for their acting talents are deserved in that they could portray such chemistry off each others characters as tortured souls when apparently they did not care much for each other off screen. Loved the music too-- thanks for posting this one

@ligreekguy Hallie Stokes? Do you mean Roxanne Drew, the little redhead who looked like a young Julia but who was a total twit? Barnabas was never involved with Professor Stokes niece, Hallie, who was just a teenager in knee socks. But I agree with you overall. Nobody loved him like Julia did. Barnabas and Julia rocked!

I don't think Barnabas had the same feelings for her as she did for him. I think he went for the younger girls lol. Such as Vicki &/or Josette, ect.. But oh well. Julia still loved & cared for Barnabas, I think he did care for her but not in that way. He did admire her & she was his one good friend he still had & trusted.

I heard the Bramwell storyline fizzled miserably and the numbers dropped so low they just canceled it claiming lack of storylines.

Known who? Jonathan? I haven't seen Jonathan in years but I know him. He wrote the foreword for our book. I knew Grayson before she died and I'm still in touch with her family. Grayson never said anything negative about Jonathan. If Frid is slagging her behind her back, well, that would surprise me.

@ligreekguy Do you mean the Godawful 1841 parallel time story? Barnabas wasn't in that story. Jon Frid was playing Bramwell who was paired with a Lara Parker character named Catherine. Bramwell was also married to Catherine's sister Daphne, played by Kate Jackson. It was a Wuthering Heights rip-off and a really disppointing end to a terrific show, imo. I wanted to see what was happening with the REAL time characters but the show was cancelled sooner than they expected.
